Would be great if they could be emailed to me (PM me for my address) or even posted up on the forums for everybody to use as a reference.

Nope--havn't even read all of the texts once. I've read the Line and seen LBW, done a bit of the Crucible but I've started slow with this since its a play and analysed some stuff on it. 1984 is a long book.

I wouldn't worry too much about reading the texts too many times, just make sure you're confident with the texts and not to burn out from reading the texts too many times. I recommend thorough analysation of texts than reading texts multiple times and doing nothing.

What was your set hw for english dior1?

I've attached Look both ways - VATE teaching notes to this post. Although they are created for teachers, they are useful for students, as they contain quotes, explanation of themes, essay topics etc.

Hope they help.

Yep, I've got those, they are very good resources.

Thanks again Jessie0. Are you doing year 12 also, which context are you doing?

No actual homework set for english. Was just instucted to read the texts / watch the film. I did have a page of questions of answer on LBW and I've done that already. But besides that, nothing suprisingly :S

Jessie0,

have you got specific VATE teaching and student notes for other films and texts such as Look Both Ways, The Line, The Crucible and 1984??
