Okay, so I didn't get a Round 1 offer, although I am not surprised. My ENTER was 53.65.

So Round 1 offers are for those who where CLEARLY-IN, am I right?

I had applied for some courses that required 60 to get into. Now with my ENTER of 53.65, what are the chances of me getting into those during the 2nd and 3rd rounds?

your chances r not very high. Unless you're in the fringe for those courses, or you've submitted a seas application?

You should have applied for courses around ur enter, some above, some below just to be safe.

There is always TAFE, and if you choose the right course, you can get a pathway to UNI.

You have a chance at a later round offer, but you really need to start looking into other options now. See if you can directly apply to TAFE courses that interest you.

Biological science at latrobe , bundura was my if everything goes wrong course. I think you need like 50 or stm.

It's me again. I can now do one of two things right now.

I can do Computer Science @ RMIT University TAFE which will lead me into Degrees at RMIT - or I can wait out until Round 2 to see whether I get into a course that was on my VTAC preferences. BTW, I had put down Computing Studies @ RMIT University, and the 2008 ENTER for that is 55.45. My ENTER was 53.65.

I hate to say it, but the clearly-in for Computing Studies has gone up to 64.3. You can check all the 2009 clearly-ins using the VTAC course search.

I'm not entirely sure how round 2 offers work - I'd assume you just accept whatever you get first round, then if you are offered a course higher on your preferences in later rounds, you accept that instead.

edit: Sorry, didn't read your first post properly. I'd say go for the TAFE course, the chances don't look too good for a round 2 offer I'm afraid.

yeh im going to RMIT TAFE doing building and construction and that needed an ENTER of 69.15
