BSc was an option but i think biomed looks good right about now.

What are the hours per week of uni for biomed at Monash?
I'm not at monash, but I checked their course overview and working from that, 1st semester is 17 hours of core subjects plus whatever your elective is (probably 3, so 20 hours).

That's a bit less than UoM biomed 1st semester but not by much

actually its 18hrs core + 6 hrs elective...

so it would be around 24 hrs per week. quite busy!

All his exam questions just consist of using photos from General Anatomy and asking you label them. We've been guessing what photos will show up based on last year's exam + the MST lol

Also want to quote this (I had anatomy exam this afternoon) and say that Chris Briggs is a gigantic jerk for his exam questions :(
haha wait till you have your Anatomy Flag Race exam. It gets much more annoying ;D

Yeah you get a picture and you have answer the questions. Something like your prac sheets.

It only gets really tricky when the person in front of you moves the flag :P

Prac exams are just hard, no matter what subject. Apparently 3rd year anatomy, one of the pieces of assessment involves finding 20 things "wrong" with the cadaver (gonadal supply to kidney, no palmaris longus etc.)

Sounded awesome but...then I'd have to take 3rd year anatomy :(

speaking of anatomy prac exams...

last semester the 'prac' component was HAI assay...this semester it was ELISA...although for some reason it took me forever to actually think of what i was doing at first...lol

Hardest part of an ELISA is not cramping your hand from washing every well half a dozen times :(

Happens to me every time, you?

I hate prac exams :( I can never get pippetting right. Like say you need to assay a protein solution for concentration and you need to make one of those standard curves. I can never make an accurate dilution. Maybe it's the pippettes fault but Ive tested them and they seem to pippett the right volume :crazy2:
