So.. stupid question but can you sign up for that society even if you're not doing engineering?
I think you can join any society you wish. The only restriction is that you may not be able to be on the executive if you are not part of the ethnic group or take subjects that are appropriate. But if all you are after is food and social events, don't worry.

Heard about this today. WHERE DO I SIGN UP?!?!?!?!?!
During O-Week. I would also recommend the Engineering Students Society, they have lots of BBQs and beer. Avoid the PIRATES and the Chocolate Lover's Society, they aren't worth it.

i don't think the societies care all that much.

They jst like monies.

More signing up = more monies.

Monies => $$.

Melbourne has MORE BEER!!!!!

Heard about this today. WHERE DO I SIGN UP?!?!?!?!?!

Monash has a beer brewing society.

I do not like beer.

I decided against signing up.

Also monies: ¢, ¥, £.

Dear god. Just seeing the tides of people who will be there makes me nervous.

Ooo, a shirt! There's also a goat. Sounds like fun.

edit: I'm a bit confused. On the o-camp site, it says 'Indemnity Form (coming soon)', but in the pdf, it already has a link to this form. Do we have to wait for an updated version, or is that the one?

Thanks.

Having thought about it more, getting drunk with a bunch of strangers doesn't seem like the greatest idea.. but thanks for answering my question anyway. ^^

WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME?

Well, I don't drink, and I'm not much of a talker. The goat and volleyball are enticing, but not enticing enough for me to fork over $144. I'll think about it some more, but the best case scenario I have in my head so far involves me having a Gob moment, puking, and then falling off a canoe. So yeah, where's my sense of adventure? It's currently lying on the floor after being beat up by my common sense. :P
