I've had friends pestering me to watch this, mainly because EXO's D.O is in it (he's cute but I can't stand his acting).

I thoroughly enjoyed School 2013. It sheds light on several issues highschool students face in South Korea without being too over-dramatic and didn't have cheesy love-lines

Oh God but you must watch it. Even if you don't like D.O., he's just a side (well, pretty big side, but anyway) character and I actually thought his acting was excellent.
What have you seen with him in it? I've only heard of him in Cart and this.

Actually that sounds pretty good. They sure have it tough. I'm a sucker for cheesy lines, but who knows.
I'll look into it, anyway.

I got up to episode 4 (I think) but then stopped because I was piling up on SACs and couldn't keep up. I was supposed to finish it during the Term 3 holidays but then ended up watching ikon's Mix&Match instead

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhk I think we're going to get on real well.
It's hard to manage dramas and VCE, I'll admit. I don't know how I'll manage it next year but if one thing's for certain, it's that I will. xD

hahaha yeah I used to be an avid k-drama addict until year 12 happened  And it doesn't help that each episode is like an hour long - ain't nobody got time for that. I still ended up watching You Who Came From The Stars though, I'm not much for rom-coms but it helped me get my mind off things when school became really stressful.

And since you're an Ikon fan I'm gonna assume you watched Mix&Match. Are you happy with the final line-up? I honestly hate it. Chanwoo can't really sing but he has a pretty face and can supposedly act which will make him popular, but Donghyuk  I would have preferred Hongseok tbh. He can sing so much better and Ikon really needed another good vocalist. But Yunhyeong was my favourite since the start so as long as he was in the lineup I'm happy

Year 12, the ruin-er of everything.
It's a love-hate relationship I have with the length of the episodes. Sometimes it really kills me how long they are. (See, I'm up till 3am watching them *sigh*). But then sometimes I feel like there's so much more content and emotion that can be pushed in. I'd find it hard to find an episode suspenseful if it were only half an hour. But yes, overall k-dramas don't fit very nicely into a small window of time.
Ha! Gotta love it. I mean, I know a lot of people didn't like it and (especially those who don't like rom-coms) thought it was overrated, but you just got to love it. It was funny, interesting, entertaining and just an overall great watch.
It's a good escape when stress piles up. I like a melo when I'm really stressed. Cry it out xD
Rom-coms are my favourite  what can I say, I'm a teenaged girl 
As for school rom-coms... not really. I tried Flower Boy Ramen Shop and dramas of the like and they're not to my liking either, really. They've got to have some other theme as well as romance. Historicals tend to pique my interest well.

How couldn't have I?  Honestly, I'm OT6 so I was more than happy. But Chanwoo... I have to agree. He didn't really stand out that much at all to me; still doesn't. I don't really care for him at all. He was probably the best out of the 3 newbies though - mixed in well. Like, Jinhyeong was hopeless at dancing which always infuriated me - his voice wasn't all that either. As for Hongseok, I didn't mind him, but I didn't like him (his personality). I kept wondering, 'if you like ballad, why are you in YG?'. But his voice really would have added something to the group.
I agreeeeeeeeeeeeeee so much. Like Junhoe's voice is iKON's vocals. The rest are pretty good, but he brings it in. Indeed, in the long-run I probably would have preferred him over Chanwoo. (Oh, and, I don't think he's all that good-looking, tbh. Hongseok is much better, according to me haha).
I'm not much for Yunhyeong. I didn't (and really, still don't) pay that much attention to him. But OT6 ♡
Donghyuk... I really like. It's more bias, though. Like he's not especially good at singing or dancing, but I like his personality and looks  pahaha.
