Yeah after 7 years but thats not an issue is it? Bsc 3 years + Post grad med 4 = 7 exactly so you're covered (assuming you get a grad csp place)

I thought that after 7 years of tertiary studies, the policy becomes: now you need to pay for your own shit, plus interest.

hence, melbourne is heartless. I'm exaggerating.
FEE-HELP, postgrad version of hecs-help, has a limit of 100k
medicine is 200k at melb uni
Dentistry is 120 k.
Feel free to message on dentistry questions

That's actually incredible, I'm shocked. So you called up mid febuary i'm assuming?
When you called up admissions for the first time what did you say??

Yeh probably mid-feb or so, don't quite remember. Nor do I remember what I said. Probably something around the lines of wanting to apply for a irregular offer.

I think you are talking about grad then, not post grad.  Post grad is after you do two degrees.

I'd leave it, who knows what could happen.

Unless you have a rather urgent need for space on your preference list but i doubt you would with 12 slots

so a person with a paticular course higher on their preference list than i have doesnt get any advantage over me right? (assuming that  theres no hope of getting into courses above that)

In short terms, no.

When they're looking at your preference list though, they eliminate courses untill they find one you actually get into. Then they just stop looking for courses.

For example:
#1 Ultra hard mega MBBS/Law/Astrophysics @ Melbourne (you dont get in so they move down)
#2 Pimpology @ VU (you dont get in so they move down)
#3 Radiography @ monash (You can get into this, they stop here)
#4 Medicine (they dont even reach this step since they stop once they find a course you can get into, even if you had all the requirements, they wouldnt offer you med)

which is why you're encouraged to list your preferences in the order you want to get into them and not enter order

Hahaha I beat you all... at failing.

Total score of 143 across all 3 sections. 37th Percentile.

I've basically just screwed myself over with the UMAT and my top 3 preferences are gone instantly. Med, Pharm, and Physio G.O.N.E. These are all at Monash by the way.

Radiology here I come!

But is there any chance, say I got like a 97+ ATAR with that cruddy 37th percentile UMAT score and still do Pharm?

2010:
Chemistry: 40+
Physics: 45+
Specialist Maths: 40+
English: 45+
Japanese: 30+

Hopefully: 99+
Ambition: Medicine, Pharmacy or Radiography.

Ignore the above. I've failed Year 12 and life. I've had an epiphany... I'm destined to become a gigalo.

Yeah still... 143 what a joke of a score. I laughed my ass off when I first saw what I got. Then I told my dad and he got serious about it and then it wasn't so funny anymore...

Damn UMAT. What a stupid test... can't ACER figure out a smarter way to test people's intellect rather than making them sit down and sit bloody papers?

What dogs.

Dunno... it's a combination of both the UMAT and ATAR.

But with a joke of a score like 143... I can bet my bottom dollar I'll need 98+, which clearly I cannot achieve, purely on the basis that I'm just stupid.

I wasn't pissed at the fact I wasn't able to do Pharmacy before. Now I am. Very, very pissed.
