I'm actually really happy for Cowan.. I like his sheer determination and and mental strength :) nothing better than to prove those critics wrong! Clarke is just a freak lol.. maybe another 300 is on the cards :D

What a great day! A couple of hundreds, some great attacking play by Hussey towards the end.
Apparently Cowan is extremely intelligent (he had an offer to work for an Investment Bank back in the day). Great to see him making the most of his opportunities - especially against one of the better pace attacks.

I reckon Clarke and Hussey will come out all guns blazing. Try and smash another 100 or so during the morning session and then send SA in and see if they fall over. Really looking forward to the fireworks tomorrow morning.

Yeah I just read this article about him when browsing Google News :P
Ed Cowan
Nevertheless, Clarke will declare with a lead of 100-150 I reckon before declaring and bowling out Day 5 for a pretty good draw considering the South African's killed us on Day 1 :S

OH MA GOODNESS. Warner and Clarke.

Clarke is a GOD. This reminds me of the good old days with Langer, Haydos and Martyn when we scored 500-odd in a day.

It's a shame though.

Not related to the Aus vs. RSA match but did you guys hear about the Bangladesh cricketer who scored a century in his first match when batting at No. 10? Pretty amazing stuff considering the last person to do this was 135 years ago ;O
