That means i can never know how he knew.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

And Israel is clearly not a part of europe. Can someone please explain this?

Is everyone selectively ignoring my very very important and crucial post. I'm sure if Israel has a case to join the UEFA then Turkey will have a case to join EU?

To conclude , turkey should never ever ever join the EU. A more suitable candidate is Iran.

Ok Souljette. My question remained blatantly staring you in the face for 30 minutes - and you purposely evaded it.
Now we know where your true colours lie.

Israel isn't the yardstick with which you measure whether Turkey can join the EU. So what if Israel won Eurovision 3 times, and participates in UEFA. It's completely irrelevant to Turkey's membership. You just have to ask whether Turkey meets the Copenhagen criteria, and whether it's lunatic government under Erogan endangers Europe by doing so. At times like these, Ataturk would be rolling in his grave.

Iran proved itself so capable when it was elected UN Women's Rights Commission.
What with Neda Soltan and all. . .

of course its country or state as it stands right now...so yes it does exist duh

but it doesnt mean i agree in how it came about and the policies implemented by the government

now some governments dont want to recognise the existence of a jewish state because they dont want to be seen to legitimize it

Chavi-I agree with this point. Here you go, i answered your q's.

Your own people don't even agree with the state. Why should I? Why should i agree with a state killing my people? Mate, I don't think so.

Do you just end up locking threads that you disagree with?

This thread can be summarised by saying that Israel and Palestine are never going to get along.

Also, mod lock it please, it's going to the exact same place as the last thread about the laptop aid.

Nope, I lock the ones that go off-topic, like this one has for the past 4 pages :)

(Note that my previous post was merely a warning - I was not intending to lock the thread - until you decided to be needlessly insulting)

Oh, and here's an idea: if you are so interested in discussing the Israel-Palestine conflict, then make a thread about it rather than turning every thread that even remotely mentions the Middle East off topic.
