i just got back into dota after my friend let me use his account for dota 2 for abit. he wants it back sadly =(

i need a beta key >< !! lols and League of Legends is not a great substitute anymore with the servers being down more often than usual =(

Go sign up on the steam site, you'll get a key in the next wave of invites most likely. Or just buy a key lulz.

I was expecting SO many more heroes to be released before my beloved Dirge and Lanaya (SURELY Centaur Khan/others would have come out before them) but they've been released in consecutive weeks! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.

Some pubs i've played have been nearly as exciting and intense, but to see that type of momentum shifts in a pros game is insane.

if you have an hour spare watch that game. It is the most intense game ever between 2 international heavyweights. (D1)

Makes it even better that its a F4F game, reminds me of the epic MCiTy days when they actually beat MYM

How do you guys get into watching competitive play? I only enjoy playing the game and watching the amazing plays that people like DotaCinema and MineskiTV put together. Not whole games of mostly inaction.

Professional gaming seems a bit silly to me.

I watch it for the casters, speaking of which EG and Darer match is coming up in 3 hours Also professional gaming is not silly when you consider the dota international torny prize pool of over 1m (winner gets 1m!!)

Pub games also get frustrating

A near guaranteed team wipe if done properly, but the big black-purple dude named Engima had an item that gives magic immunity, he activated it the moment he came out of sleep and used Black Hole, which is a gamebreaking channeling AOE disable. Note the tentacles coming from the ground: that's Tidehunter's Ravage, which failed to disable the Enigma and was used a second time by a hero named Rubick that can steal spells. A near instant reverse team wipe, which is unheard of.
