Registering for the MD student conference is literally more painful than timetabling for undergrad. lmao.

I feel like I should ask one of the Epworth kids instead seeing as though I see them every day, but what exactly is the student conference?

Four day med conference basically. Whole heap of sessions on different stuff, mainly lectures but some other stuff too. All MDs have to attend each year.

I'm really hoping this is fixed soon. Perhaps I should download all of my lectures when the opportunity arises.

I want to withdraw from one of my subjects for next semester which I've enrolled in. On the 'Fees' page in the student admin tab it says the fee for the subject is due 31st August, does that mean I can withdraw without receiving a WD and fee for the subject?

Does anyone know what sort of action a university can take against an entire class if some people are found to have cheated?

Kinda worried my efforts this semester are going to be in vain if the uni comes down hard on us because of the actions of a few individuals.

If you individually aren't one of the people accused of cheating, I don't see why you would need to worry...

If it's one person they may not decide the cost doesn't outweigh the benefit but if the integrity of the unit is at stake then they're absolutely not 'impotent' with respect to drastic measures like cancelling an assessment. What happened?

assignments have been found posted word for word on websites like stack exchange. people have been caught paying others to complete assignments. some assignments have been found on paid sites that complete assignments for students but they havent identified who uploaded it to the site. solutions from last years assignments are floating around and the questions are pretty much the same. etc.

Hi guys,
for anyone who has done GENE20001, for the MCQ section, especially with all the drosophila and dragon crosses etc, can I ask if you guys have enough space to do rough working out or do they give us some blank space to do the draft?
Thanks :)!
