Flora of Vic. exam done and dusted

spent too long doing the essays and i ended up having to rush mcqs and a short answer problem at the end. shite exam technique!

a few questions i wasn't confident about

but when it came to the plant identification, i recognised the flower so i got that going for me

Wooo, Flora of Victoria's exam is over! No more study! Go MelonBar! Exclamation marks!
I spent too long on the short answers and had to write really shitty essays as a result, which are probably going to cost me some marks even though I'm 99% sure everything I wrote is correct :')
I rewarded myself by going to the Brownless and looking up a reference for my assignment (for the same subject), such fun.

I have a questionnn o-o
Is it possible to order stuff like prac guides and tutorial notes online from Co-op? And how does the Click & Collect thing work? It looks like some of the stuff I need won't be out until tomorrow and I don't want to wade through the masses of people looking for books when there might be an easier way to grab them.

If I remember correctly you just buy it online and then you walk into the shop and collect it LOL
It's so much better than waiting in the line! >_>
I don't know if you pay first or pay after. Regardless, better than lining up outside for ages....
BSc (2015), MD1 (2016)
Tutoring in 2016: http://www.tutorfinder.com.au/tutors/detail.php?TutorID=78301
Chuck a PM if interested :)

Available for tutoring on the summer holidays for university subjects or VCe.
Also tutoring for the Melbourne uni MMIs (medical/physiotherapy interviews)

Please don't PM me for lecture slides or recordings. I don't have them anymore.

o wow, congratulations buttburger and Melonhead <3 When I was enrolled in Flora of Victoria for all of 2 hours,  it looked very intense. It also seemed excellently executed; did they manage the program well, over that fortnight? Was  it interesting?

The February class Painting Techniques might have been the opposite of Flora; laid-back and practical-based content, but pretty disorganized (by extremely nice people). My last piece is below. And because it's my last piece the paint is still drying (those oil paints will dry over the next couple of days) and when I left it hanging in the gallery today I forgot to tell them not to touch its surface whoops

every1 is going 2 touch it n it will be a big blobby smear by tmrw and i will faile

Those of you who haven't seen the original Vermeer might not understand how unbelievably good Ballerina's painting is. Here's the original Girl with a Pearl Earring:

Ridiculous Natalie.
Was the assignment to replicate an existing piece of art or was it whatever you wanted?
Well done beautiful lady.

I walked through the Clubs and Society stalls on the South Lawn for literally 5 minutes - timed it, between 11:35 AM to 11:40 AM - and picked up this stuff. That's not close to all of it, I picked up double the amount later on just by walking over to Union House (the Christian Student Union gave me broccoli juice. Broccoli juice. Jesus would approve? <3). I didn't register for any clubs or join any queues, they just shove free things in your face. It continues tomorrow on South Lawn, highly advise y'all to stop by if you're on campus.

ASDFJKL that's so amazing ;o; -touches-
Thanks! That sounds great... better than running around like a headless chicken, anyways. My Latin workbook has disappeared from existence apparently :(
I found my BIOL10002 lab booklet in-store but it doesn't look like it's on the Co-op website. Anyone know what's up with that? Is there just a bit of a delay?

N'awwwh thank you n_n If I had done BIOL10002 I would tell you.

Awwwh, thanks so much Alon. I really wish the class had been longer than 2 weeks in total (1 week of classes, 1 week to finish assessment pieces) so  that I could have made it more  precise :/

Ridiculous Natalie.

Awh thank you! Yes. Though when I looked at the other exhibits, every class was assigned something different to reproduce, or not at all rofl. All are under Block 2 but there are 12 different streams, and our stream painted a still life of our choice + Girl With A Pearl Earring + miscellaneous, while other streams had assessment pieces that were landscapes instead, or a Renaissance panel of their choice instead. And the location of the gallery exhibition was announced as 4 different places; in the Art Auditorium under Announcements, between Studio 9 and 11 on the LMS, on the second floor of a different building through email, and finally I recognized someone from the class in a studio downstairs, which they moved to 30 minutes ago after they realized the Art Auditorium had been booked for a postgrad information session. The Victorian College of Arts is very carefree and vague, like a daffodil on the wind~

Buhhhhhh I am jealous of your talents Ballerina!
That is, both your painting talent and your ability to pick up copious amounts of O Week crap.  How have I been on campus all week and I have NO FREE THINGS?

You're sweeter than the engineering club's free liquid nitrogen ice cream! LOL have you tried RMIT? I was so tempted while at Melbourne Central to stop by their O week and TAKE ALL THEIR HOTDOGS  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Hahah awh thank you! I bet buttburger will score a better grade than I though, even in his infinitely harder subject. What a champion <3

dw all the food is gone  and now I have to jog tomorrow morning for 3.2 hours at a rate of 10 km/hr. I even ate the cheese wrap from the Italian stall that I forgot about underneath my laptop and was a congealed ball of grease 4 hours later. Should have taken the stress ball that the Organ and Tissue Donation stall offered u_u or signed up to one of the sports clubs instead of stealing their Mars bars

DON'T EVEN TRY THE SCIENCE STUDENT SOCIETY'S BBQ. I tried taking a photo of the queue but it wouldn't fit into the frame of my camera. And I almost backed far away enough into traffic. A car honked at me  :'(
