because engineering students are lazy as fuck haha
the only study i see people do is basically attend the lectures and tutorials. I feel embarrassed when i say i do the tutorial sheets because no one else does them.

What the fuck. I honestly don't know how those people pass.  I literally study/attend classes (for and Engineering major) from 9am - 7pm every day .. including most weekends... granted I manage to get into the low H1 bracket but still.  Like.... how could you even pass just by going to lectures and tutes... I don't even....

The other good thing about taking Bus Fi is that my twin will be taking it at the same time. So, extra study source. Any advice AN?

Is it not a moot point now that you know Intro Personal is only run in Semester 1?  So the other is your only option?  Also you have a twin... awesome.

I don't get it too. But then again, eng is logical. I'm not saying you dont have to study but its not like you have to rememberize stuff.

Yeah I posted that prior to my edits haha. Looks like I'll either be taking Bus Fi or Inter Macroeconomics. And I agree with Inside Out, you don't need to memorize stuff for eng, so you can definitely pass without doing every single tute question.

Oh my God ~detective hat~ Hancock does have a twin!! I know you're fraternal, but are you two very alike? What compelled you to choose mechanical eng while he chose chemical systems? Congratulations on being the taller one!!!!

I am so happy I chose to cuddle and make pancakes today over revising for the midsemester tests.

Can someone please clarify what it means by a hurdle requirement for a mid-sem test ? Does it mean I have to get more than half of the questions right?

Not sure LOLs99, is it in the handbook page for the subject?

Hmmm I hate everything and my major is neuroscience? Although it seems half the people who pick the major do so because the third year neuro subjects require few prerequisites, haahah. What are your postgrad goals?

I will always wonder what would have happened if I chose pathology instead. Pathology sounds amazing, but the amount of microbio and chem is not for meee

It says on the website here as mid sem quiz "hurdle requirement" only so I don't really get what it means...that just means attend the quiz? Here: https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2014/ENGR10004

Neuroscience does sound kind of appealing, but I haven't done much of it yet, so we'll wait and give me time to hate it.
Postgrad goals I have no idea. I'd always planned on med, but that was more so I'd stop being a lazy fuck and work and less for actual desire to become a doctor.

Pathology sounds all right. It's really research based though, isn't it?

Yup, I was always under the impression that unless the hurdle is a attendance hurdle (say, Jap 1 where you need to attend 80% of classes), the exam hurdles etc require a 50% minimum to pass the subject. If that is for a MST, then if you get 48 for instance, then you haven't attained the hurdle requirement.

I initially planned on a HSF major then MIIM major. I've dropped MIIM, and after doing some anatomy I don't think HSF is for me >_< I have no idea what I want to major in anymore hahahahahha
