Pfft she complained that she didn't have enough hours in the day and yet she bothered to burden herself with driving you to uni (NO OFFENCE BUT ATTENDING TO OTHERS TAKES TIME).

Do MIIM because it is awesome but I should stop convincing smart people to do it because then they'll be like ~the ultimate~ competition, I convinced my very smart friend to do Immuno and now I regret it because she is better than me ;--;
Good for medicine and the world in general, bad for my ego.

Is your friend Jesus? I find it hard to believe that anybody is better than you...

In first year I was obsessed with psychology and when I realize I am not good at it (which was too late) I search handbook everyday.

-Biotechnology and Genetics, Im just not good at it! sem2 bio of first year prove me that : ((
-Human Structure & Function, I really like second year anatomy, lots of information but the good news is as long as you memorise every word that comes out of lecturers mouth,u shall be fine : d
-Neuroscience, I love nervous system that I learned in anatomy, but I hate ns that I learned in first year psych! dont know which one will be the dominant style of learning in second year :- ssss
-Pharmacology,...if it was pharmacy, just if it was...my life would be much much easier (why unimelb does not have pharmacy major?!!!?)
-Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, I did not took any subject for that yet,but from what  heard from friends, one subject from that is enough : d
-Cell and Developmental Biology, yeah...its biology, has everything...best backup plan everrrr
-Microbiology & Immunology, I am not good at it like simpak, but simpak said so many good thing about it : xxxxxxx (depends on my mark in mid sem.good mark=majoring in it : p)
-Pathology, 5 hour prac in third year? hard hard hard
-Physiology, no idea yet bout what is it : (

the main problem is I want to study dentistry, and my brain is just thinking on how to get into that course? that is the problem when you cannot go directly to major you want. right now I cannot enjoy any of the subjects that I am learning, because I am so worried about my marks and gamsat and what will happen if I dont get good marks. I dont look at any of the subject and say that looks interesting,I look at them and thing will it be easy so I can get into dental school?

It is not a good situation honestly : (...by the way any idea that which science major had highest GPA last year? they once announce that in biomed orientation week, but I cannot find any charts about it!

There is a very high chance I am going to fail the Eng Maths MST on Tues. it literally takes me 45 minutes to do two questions and there's no way they can test us on everything we've learned in two questions.

It just takes me ages to process all the vector calculus questions. In my head they all seem like this mash together of stuff that is similar-but-different... The different sorts of integrals and shit. I don't know I'm just bad at maths, and even though I've been so diligent doing every question all semester I've already forgotten so much. I thought that I could just scan over everything for a few hours and it'd be fine but I've re-confused myself all over again. I can get the questions done, they just take forever. I have no idea how they are going to test this stuff in 45 minutes.

It would help if they structured the questions so they are mainly testing the setting up of the integral, and the integration itself is straightforward. Sometimes a complicated integral can take me like 20 minutes and will probably have an error at the end anyway.

My suggestion is to clearly write out the method for each type of integral you're going to be doing:
Surface
Volume
Area
Line and Work (they are different because one is a vector integral)
Stoke Theorem expansion (Flux)
Gauss' Div Law (surface goes to volume integral)

If you can memorize the simplifications, you should be peachy. Also, go onto the past exam papers unimelb, and look at the first 4 questions of the final exam. They are remarkably similar to the mid-sem. Good luck!

I've got a Fluid Mechanics II test at Monash on Tuesday. Second mid-sem test for the subject out of 3.

I did psych in VCE, which I know isn't much but it's something. And I'm pretty sure that we do some neuroscience in our anatomy subject next semester.I'd much rather bum about in Arts at the moment (which wouldn't really work, but still)
The bloke who coordinates neuro was really nice to me at the majors expo, so that's a + hahah

For my first and second year psychology subjects, I still frequently use information learnt from VCE psychology. Human physiology is also heavy on the nervous system as its coordinator is a neuroanatomist; you'll learn whether you like neuroscience and physiology from the subject!

However, major in MIIM instead of physiology anyway. The amount of rote learning has caused my notes to be pages and pages of this. Anything that helps me remember the midsemester test content.

We can be class buddies! :D

Ohhhh yesss we can exchange test revision notes :'D

by the way any idea that which science major had highest GPA last year? they once announce that in biomed orientation week, but I cannot find any charts about it!
Problem solved, we can all graduate with that major. My guess is...genetics? Elucidate, someone.

I still have yet to find a major that isn't just a tonne of rote. I thought chem may not be, but it's probably worse for it. It's sad!

At very least you have pretty pictures!
