hey! have anyone done intro to actuarial studies? im wondering how are the group assignments divided? do we have to find our own group or will it be based on our tutorial class?

When I did it, the groups were randomly chosen and put on the lms.

Ah, just had the pleasure of a first lecture with Roger Rassool..

 

I think my textbook and I are going to have a very close relationship in the next few months.

Bhaaha. It's so much easier to study wrapped up in a fluffy bed with a hot water bottle <3 I love my lecturers for all using echo. Take that, Trevor Smith.

Thumbs up to this, except replace the hot water bottle with my electric blanket  ;D I love it how i only have 2 days at uni per week. (really it would be one, but i feel guilty for not going in as much so i go on fridays anyway  :P)

Anatomy pracs dont start until week 4 (not compulsory but will go anyway) and i only have 2 pracs this sem for pharmacology  ;D

I prefer them much more than the other one (don't know the name, I just remember having to pay like 20c for soy sauce at the other shop) LOL

There's another sushi place near the UMSU place on first level but I haven't been there, it looks like I won't need to though :D

FYI - the Melb Uni Health Initiative's SWOT program is recruiting for lecturers! It's a VCE revision program for students from underrrpresented schools, and was attended by over 700 students last year.

We're planning to run 10 out of Biology, Business Management, Chemistry, English, Further Mathematics, Global Politics, Health & Human Development, Legal Studies, Mathematical Methods, Media, Physical Education, Physics, and Psychology this year.
