^cool i might major in neuro, i love the low contact hours, but people seem to think the neuro major subjects are hard. can't imagine neuro subjects being harder than those for the anatomy major though so wut gives

so apparently for phys20008 the prs isn't a hurdle for 5%, depending on how many you attended you get a proportional score out of 5, could someone confirm ?

Yeah after consulting my notes afterwards he made a terrible typo in one question which will probably invalidate the entire thing. Otherwise, I should learn to be less critical of "all of the above" and actually pick it if it sounds right. XD

Is he still putting that in? Dawn cracked the shits last year about "all of the above" questions.

Rob's an extremely stubborn person, she'd have to campaign pretty hard to get him to reevaluate his personal decisions.

(CAN YOU TELL HOW MUCH I RESENT HIS COORDINATION I'm sure you can)

Yeah the anatomy subjects would have higher contact hours because of pracs etc. But the amount of rote learning for anatomy was too ridiculous for me to keep up with, neuroscience requires a bit of understanding/application-type knowledge which I enjoy. As for how hard neuroscience type subjects are, it really depends on whether you enjoy the content and like any other subject, trying to keep up with the material. I'm taking visual neuroscience and sensation, movement & complex functions so it will be interesting to see if my marks for those are on par with or slightly less than my neuroscience marks in semester 1.

Rob's an extremely stubborn person

Yeah and it seems like it was often the answer, so I've lost around 4 marks on that alone. XD I've probably lost a couple more too from elsewhere. Heh, it's alright, it was only worth 10% and I don't think I could have done much more. I'll just keep trying my best and hopefully perform better on everything else. :)

It shouldn't but it does. They literally spent half an hour telling us how to calculate dilutions and use a pipette.
