Well. That biochem mid sem didn't seem to be as unforgiving as last sem's one sounded

That moment when you go to a tute and have absolutely no idea what's going on because you're so far behind in a subject. I just want the mid sem break to come already. :-\

Anyone know why the non-teaching period is so late this semester? I think it's the same with Monash too. Is there a holiday around that time or something? :S

I don't think there are any public holidays around that time so I'm not sure why either. There are a ridiculous amount of Jewish religious holidays around and during that period but that's never affected mid-sem break timing before

Hey does anyone have any preparation questions or past test/exam questions for ANAT20006 and PHYS20008?
Have two MSTs coming up so was just wondering what material was out there.

Thanks!

Student union elections are upon us.

Is it just me or have campaigners gotten more aggressive this year? I had about three of them following me as I went to the library just now.
BSc (Hons) 2015 Melbourne

PhD 2016-??? Melbourne

I want to be an architect.

Lmao today saw three different campaigners approach the same dude and trap him and each had their turn doing their little speech on him. Dude looked international so idk if he had any idea wtf they were saying.

On a side note pretty sure they messed up the Student Appeal campaign cos people confused us for student elections.

Try looking at past exams on the library site.
Apparently they use questions from biomed anatomy in science anatomy  :)

Does anyone do MIIM20002 here?

I missed Prac 3 today and I contacted the subject coordinator (they were not pleased to say the least) and I was told to collect the notes off someone but I don't have the contact details of anyone in my group nor do I understand what kind of notes I would need to write up the report,

Basically I'm wondering if anyone here can help me out?

ah I never ended up writing a review for that or neurophys during the holidays, sorryyyy (I will endeavor to put them up at the end of the year or during this semesters mid-sem break but I don't know how informative it will be because I crammed like a mad man for these subjects during swotvac, I was probably 14 lectures behind for each of these subjects during swotvac-which included having to construct notes & memorize them).
But PoNS was great! You learn about stuff like how drug addictions work, language processes that occur in the brain, upper and lower motor neurons, neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. what alzheimers does to your brain), aspects of vision/hearing/touch/pain, how we study the brain and neurons etc etc.
