The one about the assignment usage? I don't know anything else about it other than what was said in the email.

Hmm. Ok thanks. Just seems a bit random that's all. Because yesterday I was discussing the assignments for this subject having practically never openly discussed it before (besides on ATARNotes) with someone else because we were discussing breadth subjects, then a few hours later get this email. Just was a bit suss but seems as if it's just by luck.

Was about using the assignments for research purposes. She's probably doing a pedagogical related research paper or something - she has had a few papers about assignments/activities etc. I think.

The interview I had was with a person with a VERY interesting past.

I assume she is going for variation. The interview I had was with a person with a VERY non-standard (whatever that means), interesting past.

And that's interesting! :) I didn't think they gave a second look to student assignments after the marking period had passed >.<

I've narrowed my subjects for Sem 1 2014 down to three for that one free slot I have, but I'm starting to consider taking Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as a subject separate to my degree (I'm prepared to pay for it) during third or fourth year, since I have a couple of gaps in my planned course outline (even if it changes I'm still going to have a few gaps). Is there any downside to taking an extra subject (if I'm not overloading) other than having to pay the full fee upfront?
