scribble start dating someone at one of the more lax university-owned colleges and live there for the entire semester
there's a guy from Frankston who's living in his girlfriend's room and eating our food and leaving behind the remains of his food and their shower sex for his gf to clean up and he doesn't have to pay the 11k for the semester
(oh if only this would work)

Sounds like he's got the right idea...

And god only knows Scribble. Just hide away when they're shutting up, and you'll be fine. Presumably it would actually be open 24/7 to be honest.

Have friends who regularly sleep in the engineering building for what it's worth.

Pretty sure you can sleep and shower in The Spot as well, if what my Commerce friends say is true.
If all else fails find a bench in Argyle Square and rug up?

I'm feeling a bit of sexism going on with the free accommodation thing. I've certainly never been offered any (N)

XD the spot is where my morning lectures are held and conveniently right next to my place too (so i can pop in and get stuff) SO I REALLY ACTUALLY JUST MIGHT. ill just hide in a corner when they lock up or something. :'D and hopefully i don't set off any alarms. (cause this happened at giblin eunson at 4am once and it was pretty awkward)

XP you're prolly glad you haven't been offered any too :P
though when i was living at a refuge, there were more girl rooms than guy rooms also. might be a recurring trend :P

Seeing that you graduated the same year as I did, I really feel I haven't adequately embraced UniLyf like you... haha!

Props for finding any space in the library.

I had one big break in my timetable last semester, and if I visited the libraries at any time other than that break, there was no chance of finding a seat. Curiously though, it was always empty when I had my break...hmmmm I'm sensing something here!

hhahahaha oh goosh. getting a seat in giblin eunson is actually IMPOSSIBLE. i remember this one time during exams, i left erc at around 6 or so which was like 70% empty, and went to giblin eunson instead and it was literally full to the brim. like there were 3/4 peple at all the two seater desks (with loafs of bread and instant noodle cups) and not only were there no spare desks, there wasn't even a single spare seat. i was going to like, study on the bench next to the printer. BUT NO, not a chair in sight.  i literally sat on the floor and studied for three hours before some guy who felt bad for me told me that someone left and cleared out a tiiiny space so i could sit study next to him. ;n;

tl;dr just don't try to study at giblin eunson near the end of the semester. its a bad idea.

awks... i just found my apartment (on a different floor of the building) on realestate.com
turns out its actually a one bedroom (we have three people in here) and my room is meant to just be storage space. QQ which explains the lack of windows and awkwardly placed light switch.
