Are you like me and have not had enough time to look at them yet hence why you are asking this question?

I had a 20 sec flick through two of them before I left this morning lol. Guess I'll do them when I have some spare time.

Flora/Fauna's terrestrial botany segment has ended, actually so sad :'(
I thought I absolutely hated botany but this subject has made me change my mind big-time V:
(Also the trip around uni to look at plants was surprisingly good, Emma Lewis is the best and also the System Gardens are beautiful ;w;)
So glad I chose this over Calc 2, if anybody's looking for a future subject to use as a filler during 2nd/3rd year you should totally take BIOL10001.

I did it last year to fill in a Science subject space and it was probably the bludgiest subject I have done at uni so far. The plants section was really boring for me (I'm not a fan of botany and was scared by the first semester Biology botany pracs!) but Kath who does the fauna section is a really amazing lecturer. The most interesting thing was when she discussed overfishing and the damage it has to marine ecosystems and as a vegan I felt like standing up and shouting NOW DO YOU GET IT!!!!??!? Really makes you think. Anyway, I think I put in approximately 3 hours of study at the end of year exam and still got a 78. With what I've gathered of your work ethic it should be easy for you to get a lot higher. You can pretty much bullshit a H1.

Anyone who's done HSF, how useful are the ADSLs? Like would you only bother consulting them if you don't understand something?

Personally, they didn't help me a lot. I just found that anatomy wasn't really about understanding a lot (except the nervous system, which has kind of difficult to understand at first). I didn't do the worksheets after week 2, but I still did the online quizzes from my lecture notes. That is my opinion, just trying to be honest about what worked for me :)

lol jason the anatomy guy is apparently encouraging people to understand the content and not simply memorise. Yep don't listen to him everyone!!!

In other news, i'm finding the physiology concept checks pretty hard -_- I want to get 10/10 on them thoughhh

I know, the last one, I got 9/10, grrr...Ok I guess that mark is still ok, but I wish you could do them over and over like anatomy!!

@MelonBar: Flora/Fauna campus tour was surprisingly interesting, but I don't think you missed any important content for the exam or anything. Maybe Google the Wollemi Pine, aside from that you should be A-OK.
(Also, Emma told us that there WILL be a question about how the macadamia supports the low nutrients -> sclerophylly theory on the MST and/or the exam, so I guess that's useful to know?)

Trade-off of being thorough with every part of the content: being grossly behind.
At least I'm note-taking in all my lectures  :'(

I am so behind I am the most behind of you all.
Nah seriously I do two theory subjects, and I am behind two whole weeks in both of them.
I love myself.

i'm a couple lectures behind in one subject and only one in two others.
Idk it just seems to be working for me this semester unlike last one. Maybe it's because I have two days off per week.

Yeah I feel like the reason I'm so behind is that I'm away from my house from 7am to 7pm daily.
