Think I'm gonna sit GAMSAT UK after that.

The essay section will fuck up my score the most, I legit wrote the worst essays. Had so many mental blanks. Really pissed off as I actually did a decent amount of practise on it too.

All in all I had to guess C way too many times and all the concepts that I had even the slightest chance of getting correctly never appeared.
Edit: I don't want anyone to be disheartened after today. The most important thing is that we relax a bit tonight, forget about the gamsat for at least a little while and work at maintaining our GPAs which is ultimately far more important.

GAMSAT: Which sentence demonstrates that Fred is angry the most?

A. blah
B. blah
C. blah
D. blah

Who gives a flying fuck is Fred is angry? Why doesn't he just say he's angry, instead of being a gigantic sook about it. Fuaaaark now I'm angry!

Nah...I was hoping for like 70s in S2 but I definitely know I won't get that high. Nowhere near as high. It felt like I wrote something a year 9 person would write

It's a lot harder to tell how you went in S1 and S3 though. They were both harder than the purple practise test tbh

In all seriousness, the one thing that did impress me about it is that it looked quite difficult to prepare for. They've done fairly well in trying to write it in such a way that aptitude is tested, not preparation. Which, really, is pretty important. Otherwise those who can afford to splurge on expensive prep courses get all the CSP places and those who couldn't dream of paying full fee have to give up on med or sell their soul to Bob Katter and work in the country.

Neither. Probably a trial.

Really? The style of questions required you to think a lot, but it wasn't really about natural aptitude. I at least (sort of) knew what was right and what was wrong in today's test. UMAT preparation was probably not worth it but I definitely think getting used to GAMSAT-style questions will be very beneficial. A full-on prep course is probably excessive but buying other resources such as Examkrackers and Des' MCQ did help me in the long run.
