Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone would know the best route to get to/from the MLS via PT from the Lilydale/Ringwood area and getting to the Law School just before 8:30am?

Thanks

That moment when you purposely choose the terrible lecture stream with the intention of watching lectures from home, only to find out by email later that the subject is not recorded at all.

Well that certainly wrecks my plans.

From Lilydale/Ringwood, take the train to Melb Central, go out the Elizabeth St exit, then take a #19 tram to Haymarket. From there, you can just walk to the Law School (assuming it's where I think it is, lol).

Thanks!

Is there a way to check if a workshop you're registered in is full or not? I want to change around subjects in my study plan but I don't want to come back to a waiting list :P

Dear UNIB20007 students,

We have identified an administrative error in Quiz 3 where the answer was marked incorrectly. Since you answered this question correctly, and the quiz was worth 10% of your final grade and had 15 possible marks, we will be adding 0.67% to your final grade for GH&S.

The grades with be formally updated in the system at the end of the week, so you may not see a change to your score until then. Please be aware that due to rounding, there is a possibility that your final score will not be affected.

In the mean time, please email us if you have any concerns or questions.

The GH&S Team

Did anyone's marks go up?
I went from 81 to 82, I also received a 82 in my genetics subject genes & genomes last year haha.

Human Physiology, Chem 2, Biocellular Systems Engineering.
BSE looks intense.
Chem 2 will be extra intense because of not doing Chem 1.
Human Phys will be awesome but content heavy.
How about you?

Chem 2 will be fine without Chem 1, I didn't find Chem 1 to help me at all in Chem 2. And Zumdahl/McMurry are extremely good texts for reference if you're confused :)

I've probably said it before, but the only thing you have a slight disadvantage in for chem 2 that is taught in chem 1 is newman projections and chair conformations, and a bit of nernst equation stuff maybe. However, a lot of what is taught in fundamentals and not in chem 1 is in chem 2 like some metal chemistry stuff.

Human Phys is more understanding than rote learning and I don't remember it being as content-heavy as first year bio or anything, probably 60-70% of that as a lot of the concepts in human phys are interrelated. I found the best way to approach it was to read through/understand the lecture material, refer to silverthorn/sherwood textbooks for a bit more info (and really the lectures are pretty much based off silverthorn) and probably the most important thing.. take advantage of the past exam questions and MST solutions they provide you. If you treat it well, human phys treats you well back :)

Got the prac book for Biochem today. Holy fuck, holy fuck, holy fuck.

They're not that bad, most pracs can be finished in two hours, so there's plenty of time to repeat the experiment if something goes wrong.

Just make sure you keep up with the work outside of class and it'll all be fine.

Easier then chem pracs, in my opinion.

Exam for second year biochem is a pain though.

That really is reassuring! It just seems so big and so strict!
