Yeah on my computer though.  I usually take important stuff out and put it in a word document with other related stuff and then just highlight my pdf.  Or draw a box around a figure, which is always purple because I don't know how to change the colour of boxes in preview.  I don't know much about computer.  I have a terrible system for papers, everyone hates it!  I refuse to use a paper organising app, such as Papers, so as a consequence I have about 300 folders on my computer that each house a specific paper and its associated word document for note taking.  It's excellent and old-school.  I just don't understand new technology.

In any case, if I get offered free software next year I might move over but muurrrghhhh.

According to this: http://services.unimelb.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0010/964099/2014_2015_TT_CR_HB_Timelines.pdf
It's either December 1st, or early January 2015, depending on what sort of summer subject you're doing.

My summer subject is in February and the people at the arts help desk said to register a month before the starting date of the subject. I wish they were a little more specific, but oh well...

But basically if the subject is in January you should register in December and if in February you should register in January.
