Nothing ever changes in Calc 2 content-wise so I guess you can just use past recordings of Calc 2.

I didn't know we were meant to enrol in classes in the same stream????
does it matter if lectures and pracs are in different streams too? help

If it's streamed then it will only allow you to enroll in a stream, you can't pick to go to a different lecture.
However you've enrolled it should be fine, as long as it's complete.

I personally have never encountered different lecture streams being behind in content, in the first few weeks at least all streams should be up to date with one another.
One of the streams for Calc 2 last year somehow ended up being 2 lectures ahead by the end of semester. I guess you could go to the lecture you prefer and if it seems you've missed something just fill it in from Lectopia later on.

Thanks for help guys i would try this way :)

If you managed to enroll in it yes, or they messed up their lecture entry into the timetabling system.

Is the "x spots will be available on 20 Feb" reliable?

Very annoyed that I have a 3 hour gap break in Wednesday, and have to leave at 5.15.. had to design my timetable entirely around the complete lack of Chem practical availabilities.

(Image removed from quote.)

It is yes. Maybe check back every few days as well as others might leave the class you're hoping to get into.

Are we supposed to put the two MCB pracs at the same time?

They run on different weeks, so I guess it doesn't matter when you put them. I intend to put mine at the same time.

I'm hating my time-table so effing bad. Omg -.-.

It becomes so much better if I can change around two pracs. But pracs have booked out. Although when I go to click on them it goes '10 more places will be available after the 20h of feb'. What is this? Do I basically have to snipe on the 20th of feb and hope nobody else is trying to snipe the same place?

Thanks

Also because some nutjob biomeds were asking what they should study beforehand I MEAN DO YOU REALLY WANT TO STUDY TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE SUBJECT ACTUALLY STARTS

"In response to several queries from students, we are opening the subject site on the LMS early and we are providing you with information and resources to enable preparation for this subject over the semester break should you wish to do so."

THERE'S MORE THAN ONE. I do love my classmates, but sometimes they make me feel homicidal.

Are we supposed to put the two MCB pracs at the same time?

Absolutely. The longer pracs are computer workshops for Biochem, Genetics, Cell Biol and Path and the smaller ones are the two pracs for Micro

Oh and another question sorry.

Are workshops/practicals for BIO and CHEM 1 once a fortnight or every week?

Yep basically.

Quick q. Is it better to have a fairly long day that finishes at 7 or a day off?

9 times out of 10 you will be able to get into your desired class times on the staggered release date. If you still don't get it, talk to the science student centre and see if they can make any adjustments.
