I want to change my major, but I can't change the stream in the Study Plan page. What do I do?

You should just be able to find the Commerce Major box and select change, which part of this can't you do? Screenshot?

There isn't any Commerce Major box anywhere.

If you're switching from Actuarial stream to General stream the commerce student centre will do it for you. Chuck them an email or visit them. :)

Agreed :D! Since I've received my WAM, I've been checking every 30 minutes for the last 4 days whether it has been updated. And I've been making so many assumptions and guesstimates on what scores I've gotten!!

Shouda just released everything on the same day!!
Isn't that what monash does? Some of my friends there have said that the portal where they check the results almost crashes because everyone wants to access results at once in a similar fashion to what timetabling used to be. Nothing wrong with current system of continuous rollout of results.

can someone help me out with something please

two of my exams were one day after the other, and i became really ill a few days before them, had to go to the hospital, and got heaps of doctors notes specifically saying that my illness/medication will make me unable to do my exams that week etc. The results for these two subjects have come through and i got " WH SP Exam " for my grade description for one (im assuming it means supplementary exam) but for the other i got a straight out "fail"
what should my next steps be here, this is stressing me out so bad

Did you apply for special consideration through your student centre? If so you should have received emails saying whether it has been granted or not, which you can reply to appeal.
The subject coordinators have no control over whether special consideration is granted, they are simply told which students are going to be sitting the supplementary exam.

The special consideration process is absolutely atrocious (ie it's a mess of bureaucracy) and the most important thing to do is to ensure that you don't deviate from their paperwork trail at all.

Also, get student advocacy involved at the earliest opportunity if they're not cooperative.

Monash students can get a text (SMS) similar in format to the VCE results. Much better than logging in and waiting and refreshing every 5 seconds :P

Hi guys, I live in the West (near Tarneit) and throughout VCE I would buy all my novels and VCE stuff from a book store called Hedleys.

They have run out of business, and after 100s of google searches I can't seem to find any other book store. Was wondering if you guys know of any other companies that would sell me stuff like year 12 english novels...

Thanks
