Yay another Italian intensive student! This is awesome! Again, feel free to ask me for help if you get stuck!

Since I've actually done two Italian units, I can tell you that the seminar is basically a standard tutorial, except it gets a special name because it's longer. The "tutorials" that they have are actually conversation classes. Alter's description of German 5 is similar to what I did, although none of my units had formal lectures.

Thanks for the offer! Will ask you for help if I ever need it :)
Also is it important to buy the textbook?

I just looked it up in case it was different to mine (and it is). It's difficult to know - in some classes we worked directly out of the textbook so it's definitely not like other subjects; you will need it somehow (especially for set homework or consulting it for assessment work), but I don't know if it's a justifiable expense for a three week intensive course. Perhaps have a look to see if you can get anything second hand.

You serious...? That low... So it's always 30% or does it depend on the condition of the book?

In all honesty, you should try to sell your textbooks privately. There's a textbook trading thread on this forum, and there's plenty online for the university.

i know i cant really speak on behalf of macro but my situation was the opposite of yours. I didnt do Inter Macro and only completed Inter Micro but i obtained special consideration and managed to do Microeconomics 30010 even thou the prerequisite of this subject is Inter Macro. from my experience in Micro 3, i dont really need to know much Macro or any at all. (however Lagrange method in micro 3 will be widely used in macro 3)

Hi! :)
I should start planning ahead of time for next semester (and the next lol)
Does anyone have lecture slides/other materials for AM2, Physics 2 Advanced, Chemistry 2, Genetics and Evolution (BIOL10005)?
Or for that matter, anyone have lecture slides for Reactions and Synthesis or Engineering Computation? (for next year)
If you do, PM me :)
Thanks!

While recharging is definitely important (and burnout is the worst), sometimes I find watching lectures over the holidays to get an edge on the new semester is relaxing (and also super productive) because there are no deadlines, there's no pressure to learn things, you're just free to explore the subjects at your own pace. If the subject is something I'm deeply excited to learn about, I find this kind of zero-stress study waay better than the assignment grind of a semester, and it can even take some pressure off that. So what better way to recharge, right? (obviously not for everyone)

How do you get a hold of lecture recordings?
On that note, has anybody got Pharmacology lecture slides?

AND I'M FINALLY DONE!

I know I keep saying this every semester but THIS was the longest exam period ever. I seriously cannot feel my legs. Second year definitely more difficult than first year but I'm really happy overall with how I went! Super excited for next semester.

Got absolutely DRENCHED walking back to the station after the exam. I even had to pour water out of my shoes once I got to the station!

Anyway I hope everyone is done. One more day of exam period.

And also after going crazy with WAM updates and refreshing last year I PROMISED myself that for this semester I would check my WAM once ALL my subjects have officially been uploaded (so like July 10th ish).

So what is the first thing I do once I get home from my last exam? Yep check my WAM fml. Anyone got any tips on how to avoid there is no point.
