Can be done after semester 2 exams. Quota subjects may have different registration periods, although this is generally noted on the respective subject page.

Say If I wanted to do an extra 4 subjects (i.e one more semester) beyond my 3 year commerce degree, is it possible?

I know you can use the community access program, but that is not subsidized by the government (so each subject costs like $4k, which multiplied by 4 gives $16k for one additional semester).

There is just so many good subjects that I want to do within my home faculty (thus I can't use them as breath) . Any help appreciated!

Can anyone please send me slides for inter macro, OB or investments/corp finance?

I have QM2 slides if anyone wants them.

And when does enrolment for semester 2 end?

At first I thought of suggesting a concurrent diploma which could give you an extra semester of space, but I had a quick look on the handbook and I couldn't see anything commerce-based. However, if you're willing to study for an extra two semesters, perhaps you might have some luck with a graduate diploma. They seem to typically be 1-year courses taken after an undergrad degree that involve varying amounts of coursework and research. I found a lot of courses I never knew about just searching 'diploma' in the handbook (in the graduate courses section)

There's also the option of an honours year, I suppose, but I don't know much about how that works for Commerce in comparison to what you're looking for.

Hey guys,
I'd appreciate if anyone could PM me AM2, IFA, OB, intro macro, or intro actuarial resources.
I'd be happy to share AM1, ARA, intro micro or BLAW resources to those who need them :)

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the help, I really appreciate it!

I'll check out those options and see where I end up, hopefully something will come out of it!

So i filled out an enrolment variation request online. The issue is that i can not add another level 1 breadth subject to my study planner. I received an email today stating that the request has not been approved:

"Breadth has existing subjects in it.
We’re unable to add the requested subject to your study plan as there is insufficient space available. You currently have Principles of Business Law (enrolled) and Mind, Brain & Behaviour 1 (passed) under L1 Breadth and Principles of Marketing (enrolled) under L1 Com & Breadth."

So the maximum amount of level 1 breadth subjects you can undertake are 3 (37.5 points)

Since when is Principles of marketing considered a "breadth" subject if you are majoring in marketing?

I don't understand.

I've experienced the exact same thing before.

Just send them another enrolment variation request saying that MKTG10001 is not part of your breadth.  :)

I need some advice.
I want to do BLAW20002 which has no prerequisites or corequisites but the recommended background knowledge is "100 points of undergraduate study" I emailed the coordinator and she said that she wouldn't recommend me enrolling since i've only finshed 1 semester and to do it next year.
Should I just enrol in it anyway? or would this be a bad idea? I don't see how doing an extra semester would make me more prepared to take on this subject since none of my other subjects are law/commerce based.
