I think I had almost the same issue, my scores were almost the same for each sitting (maybe a +1 difference?).

Seems some of the questions could have been more difficult than what they appeared to be.

You could try going to a company, but also reflect on how you studied and what other things you could do to improve.

Now that I've had some time to think of it, I think that I really need to strengthen my knowledge of the basics of Chemistry, particularly organic Chemistry. I also think I should do more questions because perhaps I need to practice my approaches more. Another frustrating thing is that my percentile for this was around 85th, and I got 1 score less than March, but in March I got around 75th percentile. So I don't know what that means, but nonetheless, I need to fix it up.

Thank you!

Scores wise it really means nothing, because they take your scores raw, without really worrying about the percentile people achieve. There are a couple of explanations though. Perhaps you actually improved and this was just a harder test, hence the shift in percentile and not raw score. The other option is that the cohort changed. As you can imagine, the average person who does GAMSAT in September is likely to be systematically different to the average person who does GAMSAT in March...so it could very well be that you achieved the same score but a better percentile not because the test was harder but because those who took GAMSAT in September were, on average, a poorer cohort (as far as GAMSAT is concerned) than those who took it in March.
TL;DR: who knows?

Honestly though, you'll get there eventually. I know this is really, really rough. It's meant to be. Med is hard and getting in is just as hard too. But you've always had a really good attitude towards it and always try your guts out, and as far as I'm concerned, that's exactly what you need to get in. So keep going (Y)

Business Negotiations (level 2) is definitely quite useful and very interesting. I loved the subject personally, but it wasn't easy. My grades ended up scaling down by around 10 marks (still got a H1, but the down scaling was quite disappointing to hear).

45+ raw score guaranteed (or 100% refund) for 2022 Methods & Specialist (other subjects also available - classes for all) register now!

Does anyone know if a grade in a summer subject (undertaken under the CAP, not an undergrad degree) count towards entry to a Masters program?

Is Stop 1 still running atm? I tried to send in an enquiry via Stop 1 about a scholarship and I haven't heard back from them in a week..
Pls do not send me a pm about Aspire applications. The process has vastly changed since I applied.

I've heard from a few people that students start dressing more nicely once they start medicine next year. Not necessarily formal work wear in MD1, but neat clothing appropriate if they happen to find themselves in the hospital for any reason. Is this true or complete BS? If true, I'll need to work on my wardrobe because I pretty much wore tracksuits, jumpers and sneakers/runners to university every day in undergrad.

Hey so just wondering for anyone that just did HSF do you know why the second MST was marked out of 40? I just sat a resit today and it was the same pharmacology question (this time with numbers!) and realised there was only 6 questions so if they were taken out the test wouldn't it be out of 44 - was it bonus marks? Thanks!

You won't be in a hospital in 1st year, you can wear whatever you want.
Getting some slacks and shirts is always a good idea for the future though.

I can't remember the exact number of Pharm questions that were taken out but I think some of the PHYS questions are all taken out as well since we had to change those questions during the MST and it confused quite a few students.
