Congratulations everyone, don't do UMAT, but just reading all the results being shown makes my heart leap with you.
About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

as happy as i am with an overall of 73 and 99th percentile, the knowledge that 74 would have gotten me that prized 100 doesn't sit well in my heart! probably some lousy 50-50 section 2 question :(

Hahah who cares man! a 99th percentile = an interview. anyhow, I was expecting 70th-80th percentile for myself, so I was really surprised, and quite frankly I didn't give a damn that I didnt get 100th percentile

Given that Monash are offering less interviews through the UMAT stream, what are my chances of getting offered one if I got 95th percentile, overall 196?

To everyone moping about getting a 92nd percentile or thereabouts (in regards to not getting into Monash MBBS), remember that it's the sum of your section scores, NOT your overall score or your percentile that counts for that course. Some of you are likely to still have a fair chance.

Very high, almost certain.

I think 62 overall was cut-off last year :)

Overall score is just the average of your section scores, with the percentiles then being based off this. Ultimately, point is, they're all derived off each other anyway so I don't really see your point. And I think the reason why they're somewhat scared is because the cut-off several years ago was actually 93 percentile. Not too sure what the trend has been like the last two years though.

cutoff last year was 93rd percentile... but likely to increase due to restriction in number of interviews
