I dont think your scores will be affected, you just have to do your exams elsewhere.

so there is really no point in giving any thought to getting expelled, other than a little bit of a bad mark on my "record", that im beginning to think is made up too

Don't get expelled, your school could stop you from sitting exams.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”

They can't stop you from sitting your exams, you could always sit them at the Exhibition Centre anyhow

Also, there is no "record" that you speak of :P that's made up, although when employers later contact your school, they will probably be informed you were expelled :)

A group of guys at my school got expelled for muck-up day antics last year :P

No, you don't have a permanent record, however, I'm stressing that employers will find out that you got expelled if you do get expelled and if you choose to do something stupid to get expelled don't regret it when you lose a job opportunity because of it years down the track.

There's no "file" - but there are ways of finding out your history :)

I put some of my teachers down as references when applying for jobs :) - but I think considering you have your school on your resume, employers can contact your school I guess :P

Of course they can stop you from sitting exams, your school has the choice to terminate your contract with VCAA and effectively end your year/VCE.

No such thing as a permanent record... you've probably been watching too much television.
