for matricies is q4 A because you cant have A^2 since you cant multiply (3x4) (3x4), it's not defined... am I correct?

you are correct that it cant be squared but it asked which one CAN be defined, which is B

okay so i got question 12 Core as E but my teacher told me i was wrong. is it possible that she is? bit worrying cause she is going to mark exams on Saturday for other school etc. am hoping i got it right. Anyone's opinions? did i get it wrong or right?

eg, 24cm:40cm = 100cm^2:x^cm2

25^2 / 40^2 = 100 / x

x = 278

278 + 100 (as its asking for ABC) = 378?

someone explain why it was D?

according to this I would get 35/40 (I had one right for mod 3 but I circled the wrong letter in my q book... MAYBE i shaded the right one in the MC sheet)

someone said in working out the larger triangle, because they're similar it overlaps the 100 one and so it includes the 100 in its area or something?

for the last geo, CBD isnt similar to anything, its BAD and CBA that are similar
so if you added 100 you found CBA+BAD
