Just got an email saying I won the unit prize for ECC3800, which I barely scraped a HD in (literally got 80 on the dot). Kind of shocked.

Has anyone here been to the awards dinner for the BusEco faculty before? Its a free 3 course meal so I'll go, would be interesting to know what to expect.

Just checked mine- no night exams this time, but they're all early morning (Just as bad as it's a further distance for me to travel and I need to wake up even earlier than normal rip). At least they're fairly spread apart! ^_^

Two 9:30 exams a week apart from each other.

I much prefer the afternoon timeslot haha

I have a take-home exam as usual, and only one formal exam, on the 15th at 2 PM. Pretty happy since it’s 2 weeks after SWOTVAC ends. Enough time to prepare, but I wouldn’t want it any later.

Not fussed about morning/afternoon exams, just thankful I haven’t had the dreaded 6-8 PM time slot yet. ;D

library staff now giving warnings and then removing anything from your table if you leave your stuff on a desk in the library and leave for too long

I wish they did that at Parkville, sometimes there's people who leave their stuff alone in the quiet study area for up to 2.5-3 hours 😂

I have no idea how people do that, I would never leave my belongings (especially my laptop) unattended for so long  :P

Some people just have too much trust tbh. :')

That being said, I stayed back today and found yet another wallet left behind (with cash and cards all intact) in the quiet study area in the library, thankfully didn't need to Stalkerspace it this time (she was in my class just before and messenger is a wonderful tool), but I was amazed that nobody just picked it up during the hour or so that we in class together, away from the library :D

Allocate+ preferences for next semester are now open, and close Monday 18 June at 10am. It might be a good idea to have a think about your units/timetable for next semester before exams come around :)
