Probably won't be too useful for you geniuses out there but if you go onto WES and try and enrol in the units you completed in semester 1 it'll give some indication as to if you passed or not.

If you add a unit and you get "This unit is already listed in your enrolment form or has already been completed and therefore cannot be selected more than once. Please submit your enrolment form or select another unit, or contact your faculty for further advice" you've passed it!

If it allows you to add it, you've failed it.

Cool! Does that work for units that are only offered in semester 1 too though? Like law units are offered in part A and B so if I tried enrolling again in part A (only offered in semester 1), would the same rule apply?

Not entirely sure - if I had to take a guess I'd say it wouldn't work because I'm fairly sure they only keep a years worth of unit information in the WES database at a given time. Give it a go? What does it come up with?

EDIT: Tried it with a unit that is only offered in the first semester, it comes up with "This unit is not being offered (via WES), please contact your faculty for further advice." which means that it won't give you any indication ):

I tried checking if I had failed a unit or not and I got these messages "Finding offerings for unit ATS1191. IF YOU ARE NOT TAKEN DIRECTLY TO THE UNIT SELECTION PAGE, CLICK HERE. Unit selection message No unit offering options retrieved". What does this mean??

Is that unit running in Semester 2? If its not then it will give you that message. Trying to see if you passed a unit by trying to enroll in it for Sem 2 through WES only works if its running again in Sem 2

EDIT: checked handbook and its only running in Sem 1

Nah, VTAC has waaaaay higher amounts of traffic. Plus, more people care about VTAC than they do uni results, plus you can get results SMSed - can't do that with VTAC enrolments.

Too late now. Peruse ask.monash for next semester though, they detail the sign up process somewhere on there...

Hey what's the policy on re-taking subjects? I didn't fail this one, but I missed the mark I needed (for actuarial accreditation) by 2 marks  >:(

How do you check your actual exam results not the unit overall?
