So, had my honours information session today. Turns out there was this person who was a year in-front (as in completed pharm last year) like me! But i forgot to get their name, damn. It seems like everyone knew everyone else from this years cohort.
They removed the single neuro project in the booklet which makes me sad. They did replace it with 3 at the Victorian institute of forensic medicine but it's all paper based.
Pfft that's nothing. When Menzies was being renovated, the stairs were outside the building.
Yeah but it has no escalators now

.
I have no idea if they're against the rules or not, but I don't care. Trawling the menzies for empty tute rooms, or setting up shop in an empty lecture theatre in the rotunda has served me well for completing assignments in silence these past two years. You have to relocate every hour or so, but that's life hey
That's actually a pretty smart idea. I doubt anyone would even look in these rooms. The worst that will probably happen is they'll ask you to leave. How do you find out if the room is available though, has it been trial and error so far or like showing up 20 minutes past the hour?
The matheson shutdown sucks but it's not that bad. There are plenty of places to study on campus if you get creative. They're getting really big on this whole informal study space thing. A lot of couches and desks all the way up the menzies, the various lounges, wholefoods.
If you look in the IT directory, there are waay more computer labs than you even imagined. There are probably like 20 (no exaggeration) just inside the menzies building. If there's no class, they're often dead empty. This doesn't even count all the other stand alone ones scattered around campus.
