When Easter and midsem break means working every day except the Sundays, and you look forward to the return of uni as a break from so much work.

Sigh.  And I really should get round to figuring out what weeks 2-4 even covered.  Please tell me that other people are as behind as me.

boy, is complaining fun ;D

What type of shoes are we supposed to wear for chemistry lab sessions?(I know they have to cover the whole foot) Can it just be sneakers or "school type" leather shoes.

Sneakers should be fine.  Closed and flat.
VCE (2014): HHD, Bio, English, T&T, Methods

Uni (2021-24): Bachelor of Nursing @ Monash Clayton

Work: PCA in residential aged care

Haven't done chemistry, but unless they specify leather, sneakers usually cuts it.

So much uni to catch up on over this break and I want to get a bit ahead on some of my assignments so I can focus on learning my content when semester starts up again.

This is pretty much me. Four assignments looming and I just finished the first essay i've had for quite a number of weeks now. The due dates are close for all 4 as well. No mid-sem break for me.

The main issue is that i've got no exams. All my assignments are heavily weighted and there's only two per subject. There's one assignment i've got due in a week that's worth 75% of the overall grade (beats me how that's allowed....)

Hi. I got a letter sometime after my offer that said I got a bursary of some kind. They said I need to wait til March for them to contact me, but they haven't. Anything I should do?

I used to think that a 10% assignment was the be all and end all... but then I see this. The workload definitely doesn't warrant 75% though. It actually isn't that bad.

I also planned to try and finish all my assignments this break for the same reason but ended up barely doing anything haha. Hopefully I haven't dug myself too deep of a hole  ;D

Bit late but anything from John West Australia's FB Page is pretty gold like their advertising and responses to comments are awesome xD

I have some discovery of my own to do as well.... Since I started at Monash this year and the fact that all my classes are in the same building, I have only experienced pretty much a corner of Monash to date. I think i'm at the point where I just go to uni for the classes and nothing else (perhaps i'm just sick of uni altogether after 4 years).

There's another one those types of pages. Mr Rental has become a page for lame rental memes (which perfectly compliments my weird sense of humour). HOWEVER, this tactic works wonders just like that John West page as it connects with the younger audience via memes since that's the 'thing' now and spreads the Mr Rental brand via social media.

Nothing says Monash Clayton like a bit of drizzle! I think it's best to embrace it haha.
