Trust me, once you have finished you will never, ever go back... :P

LOL! yeah that's true, and plus you'll be repeating it with a bunch of younger kids, that's worse than the actual year 12 itself
lol i'm a year younger than my cohort, so the only incentive of repeating year 12 would be the fact that i wont be the youngest in my year level for once :P

But to all those thinking about repeating, it's really not worth it. Year 12 has been the best year of my life, but repeating would ruin that completely.

What's up with the 5th option in the poll? "Yes, I would if I got 69"

If I got 69, no way would I repeat. I would take my ATAR statement thing and place it in a really fancy frame.

edit: although an ATAR of 69 would get me into science at some university somewhere, so it wouldn't be too bad for me.

Just turned 16 ? I thought that if you turn 16 after June/July you should be in year 10 ?

"Should"

There are plenty of kids who do year 12 as 16 year olds, it just makes 1st year uni kinda annoying

My friend who was 16 for year 12 also completed his degree in 2 years, and is doing medicine next year. So he'll only be 19 for post grad.

As some would know, I was going to repeat a couple of subjects this year to increase my ATAR for guaranteed entry at UniMelb.

I went to one Maths Methods class at the start of the year and that was enough to remind me of how much I hated VCE.   I got my ass out of there so fast and never looked back...
ATAR of 99.85 and were going to repeat... fuuuuarrrkk

I don't understand, how doesn't he already have guaranteed entry with a 99.85?

^^ Guaranteed entry is for if you get an ATAR of either 99.90 or 99.95.

Yeah...they are going to give it to people with SEAS this year as well I believe...so you could have slightly less the 99.90 if you have special consideration.  So annoying because I got approved for Access Melbourne, but the policy didn't apply to guaranteed entry last year. :/

Tell me about it.  As I have said though, things have actually been okay this year. :)
