Either way, I don't like cocks in my soup.
After this I'm too worried to open that link.

I'd like to introduce myself as one of the stupidest year 11's in this thread, as I have so much regret for not doing a 3/4 this year, nice to meet you all!
Dude, you aren't stupid. First of all, you have an interest in your studies and you have an account here on AN. That officially makes you not stupid. And, I mean I did year 12 and I know it is just the people that put in the hard yards that get the marks and not the ones that think they are smart and don't do enough. It all comes down to how you view yourself and how much belief you have. If you know your stuff you can walk into that sac/exam confident that whatever happens, you have done the best preparation that you could do. It is only up from here:)

Also, didn't want to be a pest guys, but since you are year 12's of next year. Please look at this:
BOOKSALE. THE ASIAN FIVE: CHEM, PHYSICS, METHODS, SPESH, ENGLISH + SO MUCH UMAT
I need to clear all the stuff very soon, so thank you to anyone that helps me.

I see lots of people are flicking through previous pages (nisha, you quoted a post from October 5).
Yeap. I've got nothing better to do than read on AN and Agatha Christie's : Murder on the Orient Express.
Nisha is my spirit animal.
:) LOL. Although I am slightly creeped out.
Just so we're clear, do you know what a spirit animal is? It's just someone who does things that you would do. Hopefully that's less creepy :P
Lol. Sorry. One of my friends has a different definition to what a spirit animal is. We are clear.

Nice joke, lol. Nah at the start of the year I was looking at a 45+ as it was my best subject, I had all the materials that I needed and was 100% prepared (I did 50 prac exams, thushan's study guide, neap study guide, checkpoints twice over, lisachem study guide. re-did all my sacs, had all my notes in my head...) but due to some unforeseen emotional circumstances two weeks before my exams I wasn't entirely in the correct mindset to do them. Nevertheless, I ended up making very stupid errors (and to this day I cannot understand how I lost more than 4 marks in total), so i'm not hoping for a great mark. But in the end, I know that deep down chemistry is ma thing, and i won't let one score define how much I want to continue with it further. At uni, I wish to do a Chemistry major:)

45+ Worthy notes and materials sold to me. Winner! hehe. :)

It sucks how as you go higher, each mark inevitably becomes more and more valuable!
I'm sure you'll do great! Hopefully those few lost marks will only equate to a scratch and not a flesh wound. :P

lol, knowing you, "not hoping for a great mark" is probably a 40+ score anyway!

I received a B+ for my midyear exam. Yea, so that means I lost 15+ marks on the exams due to stupid errors/not reading the question properly. So even if I full marked the Unit 4 exam, I would only get 38-39. Sometimes, shit happens dude.

For me, a lot happened in this year that affected me. Not just with work. Friends, family, relationships. Yea, a lot.Everything changes in year 12, not just the jump from 1/2's to 3/4's.
Its not deadly if you have a very supportive family and have friends that will stick by you and you are completely and utterly determined for your goal. Its more an opportunity to show everyone what you are made of.
I still don't really know what I want to do, Chemistry or Law.
Anyways, its all done.

On top of what you said, I especially want to prove all those people who doubt me, wrong.

Chemistry sounds way more interesting to me (bombs and stuff), although I have no clue about job opportunities. Law has the dosh. I'm hoping that Chem or Methods will be my strongest next year. Further is just further.

At my school, the Spesh kids bagged the Further ones. So we had a little competition. The best Further kids (top 5) would compete against our entire spesh class. Whoever gets the highest SCALED STUDY SCORE officially wins. It was so much fun, and I hope we Spesh kids can win with our scaling!

Yea, I don't know about the job opportunities either. Its super hard to get a job as a lawyer. But Methods is very helpful. I guess i will all work out.
