On another note, I wish I had my 3/4 chem book or at least the pdf I'm so pumped to start but I don't have the damn book 

Have you tried searching for the textbook in the local library or something? Which textbook is it?

That's a great idea! It's the Heinemann Chemistry 2 book (4th edi) I'll go check it out later on.

My school's using the Jacaranda  But I'm using the Heinemann alongside it  Heinemann's more detailed, but Jacaranda's defs got good questions.

Haha - buy your books when you want. You'll know when you're ready to get started  Some people don't start until early Jan, some people started last month lol...it all depends on you.  Order some of your books online, as you won't get them all at a bookshop in one go I don't think. But you'll definitely get the bulk of your textbooks if you drop by at Links or something.

We at MacRob , have a black market of book selling.
We spam everyones emails with "OMG I WANT TO SELL MY METHODS , SPESH,CHEM BOOKS" .
So they banned it this year . Now the black market is on Facebook.

Really? At my school they just have a book sale at the end of the year for all the students wanting to sell their books.

There's also a website called sustainable books or something, a lot people use it I think.. My brother's gotten most of his books from there. I think they have images of the books and you can choose from there.

OMG ..REALLY?
I was helping out at the book sale this year. There were only a few books, compared to previous years. And the books were mostly Year 9 and 10.
Mostly because everyone finds it cheaper to buy off other students and its easier ,
And its held later in the year , so everyone's already sold or bought their books by then .
 So we use the black market. mwuahha. and the school doesnt like it, cause there is no profit to them.

Yeah people at my school didn't really sell at the book sale at the end of the year. Most of them sold it right after they'd done their exams hahaha. For the ones that allowed a bound reference, some sold their books straight after they got out of the hall.

Oh woah. :p thats crazy. despo to get their books away .
i remember i was so happy after the bio unit 4 exam , that straight after i got home , i packed everything neatly in a box and took a photo of all the stuff i had.
No ones buying my books cauz i dont have facebook
