ive read two of my texts 5-6 times. read life of Galileo just once. and seen paradise road 3 times.

its bloody iritating isn't it. Stupid Andrea guy/girl. i didnt even get what his relation is to the story. but ive got a guide coming in. hoping it'll help my understanding. but i guess its better than crucible.

Hahah, the Crucible is one of the best texts in VCE English :p

THE LIFE OF GALILEO IS THE AMAZING! BERTOLT BRECHT IS A FREAKING GENIUS AND I WOULD GIVE MY LEFT LEG FOR MY SCHOOL TO HAVE CHOSEN THAT AS ONE OF OUR ENGLISH TEXTS!!
PS- I spent the past two years of drama learning about his plays, the political messages and alienation, etc. It may help you get into the play a bit more if you did a bit of research on Brecht first, the play would probably make a LOT more sense then. And if you understand it more, it will be easier to get through :)

haha, Crucible was just one of those texts that I never understood, I found the book quite irritating to read :o. That's why I stuck to Paradise Road in the exam.

I start on the 4th of February. Pretty late compared to most of you guys  :-\

I think I'd like it better if we started on Thursday or Friday or something this week, just so we can get used to the routine of going to school again (i.e. the routine of waking up at 7 in the morning  :P ). I reckon that'd have been a better transition into year 12, but I don't know haha :)
