What pathways would I be cutting off?

As a lot of you know, I've picked up Physics this year and I'm not enjoying it much, so I don't think I'll do it in Year 12. So what career pathways would I effectively be cutting off?

I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but it wouldn't jeopardise my chances at medicine, commerce or engineering?

I thought that would be the case, DisaFear. But I don't think it would have much impact on medicine or commerce though.

Some engineering (but RMIT and other places don't require physics mainly for it anyway, even civil), some like monash probably would. But you can do engineering through bachelor of science at melbourne anyway.

I can't really think of anything else??

2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

This must be unit 1 of physics, I remember unit 1 physic it was tedious because the nuclear and electronics side was not fun lol.

Unit 2 physics will be a lot funner :P, trust me.

In the near distant future, if your in unit 2 physics and disliking it than you shouldn't consider Engineeing as an option because engineering is loaded up with physics, bro.

Yeah, I'm in unit 1. I guess nuclear Physics wasn't too bad, but electricity is just so boring and difficult. What makes the situation worse is that the two Physics teachers at my school are horrendous and are ruining any chances for me to like the subject.

lol, the complete opposite for me. Unit 1 was the best physics I ever did lol

If you want to do anything Chemistry-related at Uni, Physics will help.
First two weeks of Chemistry has basically been the Light and Matter section of Unit 4 Physics. Really helping

As long as you're doing chemistry, methods and specialist you can pretty much get into anything.

Does spec really need to be on that list? Eng/methods/chem are the three major prereqs.

Losing physics will cut off nothing.

If you're keen on postgrad med, or engineering, it is very useful to have completed though.
vce: english, methods, spesh, chemistry, physics, geography.
