This might sound silly but look for garage sales. You will never ever see cheaper weights in your life.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Or you could just try lifting all your textbooks?  ;) ;) ;)

you WILL make use of it (if youre anything like me), and if you sign up for a long time (say, a year) then you WILL achieve your goals. you wont give up half way through. and if you have to physically leave the house to do it, you'll put in a lot more effort than if you just had to go into the garage to work out.

I know plenty who did the exact opposite of this. It's great your motivated and all but i know plenty of people who dropped the ball and kept paying anyway. Life hits you with a lot of thing, especially when you're not in highschool anymore either.

I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad idea but it's a smart idea to be hesitant of signing a year long contract for anything.

hey if you join a gym with group exercise classes they are great! i go to a class called 'body pump' quite often which is a high rep weights class! you do about 800 reps in a hour. and you get results fast as well! and as babes said, when you pay for it yourself you actually are motivated to go! dont want to waste my money. now if only my diet was good so i could see better results haha!

Back when i used to go to the gym, i went to those. They're actually pretty good and not nearly as lame as people might think.

Soundtrack was kind of shitty though..

And yeah i second garrage sales/gum tree/ whatever. Weights are pretty much heavy shit. That's their only function. It hardly matters if they're second hand or not.
