I feel horrible afterwards. I had looked over the exam in reading time and realised that it was not on. I came in with the mentality that- if I found it "OK" then I'd have to be exceptionally meticulous with my answers. I did just that. I was tryng to make sure I understood every facet of the exam and I was trying to ensure that it would be done correctly- and as a result, I left two sub questions out. I feel so silly right now! ANd I had almost wished that it was more difficult. The fact that I found it "OK" meant that the rest of the state would find it extremely easy. And if that is the case, then the percentile of A+ has to be at least 95% at this point. Or at least 92%. Such a big disappointment for myself =/...

I didn't think it was as easy as everyone else said. There were definitely tricks in the MC, and a lot of ambiguous questions.

the MC was disgustingly easy not a single trick question at all

the only tricks that i thought students would mess up in short answer were:

1. the polymerisation reaction between the alkenes , split the double bond and join on the sites of splitting
2. the reagents for propyl propanoate were propan-1-ol and propanoic acid , thought kids would write propanol only

God! I wrote propanol :'( And again in the reaction pathway below...

What were you supposed to write when asked for the neutralisation equation? Was it just NaOH + HCl -> H20 + NaCl? Or OH + H -> H20 (with the signs of course)

Ok am I the only one who found it really hard?  I pretty much put 0% effort in though :P

MC was good I think, but I left way too many blank in short answer and ran out of time to do some that I could have :(
Hoping for a C hahah

You mean when you don't do anything except watch funny youtube videos up until the exam day and then wake up at 9 am, study until 10am, go to school then proceed to talk to your friends and distract them from their study and end up doing crap all?
Yeah I found it pretty hard too :D

Why is question 17)D? if it was a strong acid and a strong base?

Why is question 17)D? if it was a strong acid and a strong base?

a strong base is being added to the aliquot of strong acid

so it starts from very low ph and then goes to very high ph

and im not sure about 5, i was going to go D but then my instinct told me it was A .. wonder what thushan will get lol
