Hey guys,
So basically, this is my
study plan.Basically want to major in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, and knock off my medicine pre-requisites while I'm at it.
I need to overload in 1st semester. Is it likely that they will allow this given my mix of subjects?
Alternatively, I need to do a summer subject covering one of the medicine pre-requisites. Is this preferable or is it better to overload:
Breakdown:
Medicine Pre-requisites Lvl 2ANAT20006 Principles of Human Structure
PHYS20008 Human Physiology
BCMB20002 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
PHRM - All of my pharmacology subjects - note that there is one pre-requisite subject to rule them all in Lvl 2 which is basically facilitating them - I can do a major in Pharmacology based on only one subject in 2nd year
CHEM - All of my chemistry subjects - note that there are 3 pre-requisite subjects, some taken concurrently, but all should be in good order
Russian - I can't miss a beat or I can't progress to the next one. They are only held once per semester (i.e. Russian 3 only runs 1st semester, with intended progression to Russian 4).
Before you ask, I'm taking Russian from bare minimum becoz despite being able to speak a lot of it, I have no idea how to spell and I don't understand any of the grammar. It's essentially just as hard as an EngLang subject, but the equivalent for my old, first and now forgotten language. It's fair assessment, I'm not rigging the system. Besides that, most of what I say in Russian is too colloquial and nobody over the age of 40 would understand me. It's good to finally learn it properly.
Do you guys rec taking a med pre-requisite subject in summer or overloading in 1st semester, and also what's the dealio with double majors? Will the university recognize it and print it as such on my degree at the end?
