Hi!
Assuming high A+ grades for GA 1 and 2, what exam score out of 120 for psychology would be safe for at least a 45?

Thanks!

Depends on the difficulty. How did it compare difficulty wise to 2017 and 2019 as for just an A+ it was 208/240 in 2017 whereas it was 182/240 in 2019.
2019: Psychology [44], Religion & Society [48]

2020: Accounting [41], English [48], Further [45], Methods [37]

ATAR: 99.00

I would say probably on par with 2019 perhaps maybe a bit more difficult

Perhaps roughly 195-200/240?

For Psych I have a 92% average for Unit 3 SACs and 92% for Unit 4 SACs? What should I get on the exam to get a 40 study score? It was quite difficult and a lot of people have complained about it.

So, using my calculator with those scores, it predicts you'd need at least 75% to have a chance at a 40 - to guarantee it would require you to go up to about 85-90%. However, I feel confident that knowing my calculator and how it's performed on psych in the past, that an 80% should secure you a 40+, if your SACs don't change. If the exam really is that much harder, and the grade distribution lowers as a result, this would likely also make the 75% change from a chance at 40 to a more comfortable 40

Did psych in a competitive and above average cohort. Not sure if rank but averaged 79% for unit 3 and 83% for unit 4. Probably got somewhere between 75-80% on a difficult psych exam.

Would this get me a 37-40 study score?
2019: 1/2 Psych

2020: English, Bio, Chem, Psych, HHD, Methods

2021: bye bye psych :D

Hi all,
What study score can i expect for Further?
Unit 3: 88%
unit 4: 90%
In an average cohort but felt like our sacs were quite hard.
Just did Exam 1 today and I choked it so hard considering I got above 95% for all the exams in previous years. I think I got 35/40 on today's exam :/ What study score is obtainable if I manage to get above 95% on Exam 2?

Thanks.

You could probably get around a low 40 if your sacs hold/improve

Hey,

Just wondering what sort of study score I should expect for Further.

SACs: 94% average in a very strong cohort (ranked top 8 in cohort)
Exam 1: 39/40
Exam 2: 57/60 or 58/60 (think the latter is more likely)

Also, what about English?

SAC Average: 98% (ranked top 10 in a strong cohort)
Exam: Around 54/60

For English, I was ranked first in an average to strong top end (total 19 students of which teacher expects around 4 40+) with SAC marks of 85% in unit 3 then 80% in unit 4.
If I got somewhere around the 50/60 mark on the exam (which is probably where I was at), would that be enough for a 40+?
Last year the SACs for English scaled up.

These are the lowest sac scores i got for these subjects and are lower then my averages but lets assume they my avereages i dont wanna get my hopes up
English: 70%
Maths: 60%
Bio: 90%
Legal: 60%
Psych: 80%

What kind of ballpark study scores could i be looking at and do you think i might be able to get an atar good enough to get me into nusiung at uni (70ish atar) uni or should i asume the worst and start looking to apply to tafes

Just remember RE nursing (since I've looked up unis and so forth) you can go to smaller unis (e.g. FedUni, just as one I've looked at) and the scores are a lot lower - e.g. FedUni I think it was a median of 49 or something at the Ballarat campus. So you don't need to go to tafes, there are still smaller unis to look at first if you want. :)

Hi all,
What do i need to get on both methods exams to obtain at least a 35ss?
Unit 3: 85%
Unit 4: 82.50%
I would say the methods cohort this year is higher than the average with a lot of kids getting above 90% however, I feel like our sacs were quite easy this year because I am nowhere near a methods freak.
Currently averaging 60% on exam 1s and 40-50% on exam 2s loool. I am not expecting a 35 but just wondering what would be the minimum exam scores to achieve it!
