I thought it was a fair exam. Good enough to separate to good students from the great.

Dropped at least a mark because I didn't put cos(x) = 0 as a general solution for question 2 D:
2011: Maths Methods: 44
2012 hopes: Spesh (45+) Physics (50) Chem (45) Music (40) Eng Lang (38)

Decent exam, I didn't see Q4.a and therefore didn't label the diagram. Too sneaky  :'(

Good thing methods is a prerequisite...

Even better if you did methods in the same year haha

Read the second part of the mechanics question wrong and when it said express in the form ag/b or whatever it was I read the 'a' as acceleration not a constant! Could not figure out how to get it in that form.. Other then that I thought it was okay!

Maybe 32-35

If you get A+ for SACs and Exam 2, is it possible to get 40 raw with an A for Exam 1?

I'm hoping I got 40/40, but I might lose marks for:
1. Not specifying that n E Z in my general trigonometric solution.
2. Using "trial and error" to determine the answer to question 9d instead of a proper method.
3. Perhaps I made a silly arithmetic error that I overlooked, since I was tired when I sat the exam (I'm hoping this isn't the case because I checked over my work).
