I was sort of disappointed with my methods mark I expected low 40's but I received a SS of 38 and received all A's. However through checking the solutions on atar notes I know I lost 3 marks on first exam and about 12 marks on second exam. Does this reflect my mark? I was think about getting a statement of marks..

I can't see how this will change anything, no I don't think it reflects your mark, exam 2 surely would of been A+, but once again I can't see the SOM changing you mark

does anybody know the exact aggregate score for a SS of 43 in further maths?
If not, how are Yr 11s meant to find out? Are we supposed to wait for next year when we are given our ATARs?

Oh! I can completely relate to you. I recieved a letter grade of A on all GAs, resulting with a raw study score of 37. I too honestly believed that I would have recieved a low 40 raw...42 to be precise. Based on my opinion though, yes it does reflect your mark to some extent, with the exception of GA2 ( because it's scaled based on how you rank). However, I do question whether or not you may have lost 12 marks on the latter exam. Now, I am not saying that's you have fabricated that number, but if I had to guess you probably selected that number at random, am I right? However, as previously mentioned, the statement of marks will not change your marks but nevertheless if you feel that it will provide you with some piece of mind, then by all means go ahead and purchase it. Good Job on attainting your score :)

Ahh thanks guys. I'm going to get my SOM just to see... even though it changes nothing... :)
And the number was not random from the solutions posted up on atar notes for exam 2 I counted 12 marks that I would have gotten wrong. And I did this the day after the exam, so my solutions that I had written were pretty fresh. Anyway, thanks for the help!

Really happy with mine. Got a 50 in Methods despite initially having a 46 due to a school error that put my SAC mark ten marks lower than normal, giving me an A, and a 45 in Chinese. WOOT!

Depends on plenty of things, but it's a safe bet to guess that it'd be around mid 30s.

i got
B+,A, A for Business and = 36
B+,A,A for Accounting and = 36

but this is high as my A's were for exams, if the B+ was for the exams it would probably be 34-35

Hmm, in regards to your friend's score, I am more than certain that it makes sense. I'm not too sure if you are aware of this, but in some scenarios, recieving low A+'s for all GA's would yeild you a raw score of 39. Moreover, I was speaking to a girl before who recieved A+ A+ A for legal studies and ended with a raw of 42. Honestly, it really depends on whether she recieved a high, mid or low A+.

What is an A,A,B+ ?

It's quite hard to determine what raw score you would recieve because I'd need to know exactly how 'high' or 'low' these grades are and the strength of your cohort. However, if I had to make a guess, that would probably yeild you a raw of 34-37

Hmm so having got my statement of marks for Psych (77.5/90), it seems it was mainly the three mark question that I forgot to answer + the extended response (5/10) that messed me up.
Interestingly, I received a better score for my second essay (Harwood) in Literature, despite putting much more time and effort into the first.
