When I came to Australia after 6 years of living in India I had a fair bit of trouble understanding people. I spoke a fair bit of English but everyone else spoke so quickly that I had to ask them to repeat their question like three times. That shit was embarrassing. I also had the fobbiest accent in the world. Thank god that left.
