I only have one more unit 3 SAC of my life to go which is is around 2 weeks. All other unit 3 SACs are done <3

This year has gone so fast, way faster than last year I reckon. Obviously not longer in actual duration, but just the feeling.

Is there anyway you can just not go to school without faking sick for 2 or so days a week just to study? I do absolutely nothing at school it's a waste of 8 hours a day for me because we work so incredibly slowly and the environment just doesn't work with exception to once class where I actually take stuff in.  I've taken I think 6 days off this year where I can just study and knock over an entire AOS in a couple hours which is awesome, but at school I'm just obligated to go for whatever reason even though I know I'm wasting my time.

Do you think there would be anyway I can just ask my headmaster for 2 days off a week? Seems silly but it would work absolute wonders and my grades would improve so much.
Isn't there a requirement of attendance? Don't you have any free periods and such?

Yeah I feel the same way so I just do whatever work I feel I need to in class. I guess it depends on your teacher, but i don't think I've ever done psychology in psychology, I'm always doing either revs or English in psych (useless teacher, so). As long as the teacher sees you writing/typing, it looks like you're doing your work, so you can pretty much work on anything you like during class. Unless your teachers like to make things interactive or encourage group work *shudder*. Then I guess just be the unenthusiastic person in the group and keep doing your thang.

I know this sounds bad but considering that I'm primarily focusing on the three SACs I have left, I haven't really started studying for my mid term internal exams which are next week. But they're just practice, right? I know not every school does practice unit 3 exams- but for those who do, are you stressing about them? The only one I'll try hard with is English- as they will be externally examined.

Personally no. Going to use this week to just recover and see how well i can do in internal exams with no study. :) :)

Pretty sure it may only be me with this view, but I hate this 'dreaded ATAR' as there are days where I think ohh I can get over a 70 ATAR score 'easy' (I understand the arrogance I have at times) and then there are days after I receive SACs back where I go: yeah maybe I will get a negative ATAR (literally no joke).

Sometimes I feel quite prepared and when I am not under duress (e.g. SAC environment) I seem to do ok whereas I can forget simple things in a pressure-squeezed environment. This does not bode well for the upcoming exams. And just simple things such as having to dress in school uniform (instead of plain clothes), under time constraints etc it all does my head in and affects my scores.

Any advice would be appreciated...

Thank you!

My school is doing internal mid years also. Actually I am studying for them all though. Well English is getting marked by previous years vcaa examiners (for a fee). And the others, well we were told during a cohort assembly that some - they aren't disclosing which, will be used as SACs and the exam score will be your SAC mark. With my subjects I'm pretty sure I'm safe, most teachers have said we're using old and condensed vcaa exams, but if I didn't study, I'll be that one idiot, who didn't...
Anyone else have such cruel teachers?

This was me around a week ago - had a bad chest infection. I think once your sick and you have SAC overload, it's a matter of getting it all done and crashing in bed when it's over. I had three sacs that week and I basically went to sick bay between each sac. I did NOT want to get it postponed. I want SACs to be over ASAP. I really despise sacs - I feel like I'm never actually studying for the exam. Does anyone get me? Like even Methods SACs are weird - my teacher says: 'You probably wont get these qs on the exam'. Seriously? Well that's a different story and I'm going off on a tangent. I cannot wait till this year ends haha!
