*lz appears*

Haven't been on for ages but I'm feeling a bit bored at the moment so - hi :P

Seeing the posts about tsfx chem on the 30th, and aw shucks, I'm going to the session on the 4th of July. I booked pretty last minute xD
Anyone coming?

Sleeping patterns??

I'm going to bed at like 12, but sleeping at about 3am. And then I wake up at about 12pm. Mines so stuffed, and it happened so quickly, want my old sleeping pattern back ;'(

My sleeping patterns are pretty good, sleep at anywhere between 10-12 and wake up at 8 ^^
Sometimes I nap during the day. :3
However, I don't study enough! Need to work on that.

How goes everyone's umat prep xD

If only there was some sort of moderator with that ability... can vic mods sticky threads?
I can now. ;D

This thread has been stickied now so we can actually find it easily amongst the Class of 2014-2017 threads which are currently up.
(if those threads become inactive I might take it off because the sticky won't be as necessary...)

Sleeping patterns??
My sleeping patterns have been worse than they were during term, but not as bad as some of those here (ahem Enigma... 5am???). Been getting to sleep close to midnight, but I really should fix that up in the next few days so I'm not so tired throughout the day - doing unit 3 practice exams is tough while half asleep...

Yep, don't recommend 5AM sleeping patterns if one can avoid it.

But hey, I'm honest!

But hey, I'm honest!

I've been going to sleep at 5AM and going out the house at around 1pm. Way to many fantastic soccer games to sleep at reasonable hours right now.

Getting started on holiday homework tomorrow, I like to relax the first few and last few days of every holidays :)

Funnily enough, almost skipped this thread in my "unread posts" because it was stickied. I'm not used to it.

On the topic of sleep patterns, screwed myself up nicely going to bed at 2am+, I think I might whittle it back down to around 12am-1am so I don't completely break whatever pattern I made. It's actually been a double edged sword for me. I'll try and set an alarm for 8:30am or whatever, just to keep normalcy, wake up and be dead tired on 7.5hours of sleep so I pass out, wake up at 9:30am, I've got 8.5 hours of sleep and I still feel horrible. It's not until a couple hours later that I actually feel refreshed.

How can you guys survive on so few hours of sleep! My pattern is the same as usual, go to bed 10-10:30, fall asleep practically instantly and wake at 8. But as I have been all year, I am still so tired. Because I have the time I've been taking 1.5-2 hour naps in the afternoon, so not healthy. I will die when school returns...

Yeah I don't really survive on so few hours, I 'battle' my way through the school day.

On normal school days I would sleep around 2-4am on average.

Including some periods of rest during this week as well.

Some of this is out of my control, but it is a little annoying.

I guess it means I can do more work late at night, but I am not the best morning person.

So jealous of people who can get to sleep so early. Students underestimate the importance of sleep, I don't but I just can't sleep.

For instance, I could literally stay up the entire night if I wanted to, as I have a gazillion things in my head. However, when there is broad daylight shining, I inevitably have to compel myself to go to sleep whether I like it or not.

If coffee didn't exist, I would be in trouble :P

Haha (:

One of the school guidance councellors suggested for me to drink coffee before bedtime so I wouldn't sleep for so long. Still haven't tried it though. Not convinced that stimulants before bed is a great idea.

Sounds like we are polar opposites :D

Would much prefer your position though

I woke up at 2pm today after 8 hours of sleep. My dad and my brothers watch the soccer in the middle of the night so I end up staying up with them. And I haven't done any homework or study since Friday night when the term ended, it's been fun but I feel guilty as fuck. I need to get into study mode and start writing the many essays that I originally planned to write these holidays.

Yeah, I am in a cbf mood as well at the moment, which is unlike me.

But given that I performed below standard for my expectations in Unit 3 with a lot of effort and sacrifice, I don't want to think about school if I can avoid it (which never happens).

Further Maths is just... I don't know why I am so bad at it.

I've been going to bed at about 11-12 and waking up about 9.

The homework i have left is 4 exercises of maths, a legal report, the other half of my lit creative response. A few questions for health. legal and English language and textbook prereadings.

I've done bits of homework here and there but not what I want to be doing. Especially since I've done no revision yet.

Been getting into Breaking Bad plus packing to move house.

Just out of curiosity, would moving house come under SEAS?

I think it depends, if you've moved from the city to somewhere rural obviously it would. I moved houses a bit more than a month ago and had 2 SACS during that week and it didn't affect me that much (mostly cos I made my parents pack all my stuff while I was at the library LOL). So nah probably not

How are you by the way? Hope you're better from before. I've been reading your posts and it seems like you've been doing really well. Take it easy, hope you are much better now.
