 Hang in there everybody!

My favourite mantra: "Good, better best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better, and your better is best".

Yeaaahh

haha. well i only did it once, and I've only written about 6 essays in the lead up to exams. I'm just being slowed a little because all my people I counted on for feedback haven't been able to give it overnight so I don't really want to write another essay knowing if I'm doing it right or not.

But imagine 7 days of 3 essays a day = 21 essays. That many essays to pile up and burn at the end of the year. I need fuel for the big book burning!

Haha well in that sense I've got a 10cm high pile of practice exams for physics/methods/further that I'm ready to burn.

This is how it goes for me. If I spam 15 essays over the next 7 days, I'll be satisfied regardless of the study score.

Then ... the day after I have two exams that I couldn't care if I got 0 on the exam.
Then ... I have a 14 day break for Legal Studies. Over these 14 days I want to try learn the course in 5 or so days, then spam about 5 practice exams. After this, I have about 7 days for Politics. I want to be studying Politics at at least half the days I'm studying for Legal so I'm prepared for it as I Want to get a 40 which is almost impossible :P I'd like 5 practice exams for that bad boy as well.

But it is fair to say I've done nothing for any of my subjects :P I'm just starting english now. King crammer.

Holy shit, I'm graduated???  :o

Val and muck up day were both yesterday, woke up this morning crying, and my emotions are just completely all over the place. I second - AmericanBeauty, was it? - who wanted graduation after our exams. There is no joy in this, just stress and terror (but the good stress, so I'm actually productive, rather than curled up in a ball in the corner ;D)

And for anyone who wanted to see my val dress - http://lithiophilite.tumblr.com/post/100545010218/val

I think I'm gonna try and do a couple of essays for english, just taking it easy today. Super scared about Wednesday, but it's gonna be such a relief once it's over.

Are you allowed to write in red pen during exams, e.g. To indicate for the examiner to look at the extra space response?

I've heard from an assessor (at least, for the English exam) that red pen isn't advisable, simply because they scan the pages and email them to assessors, so red pen, because it's lighter, may not scan as well? I'd just underline "extra space" (or whatever you're going to write) twice.

My english teacher is apparently? evidentally? not making any more essays? What?

I can understand this if it were Friday, but seriously? That's crazy.
Do you know why they're not marking any more?

Nope - she said she was, but I've given her at least 8 over the past two weeks, and both caught up in person and emailed her to schedule a meeting to talk about them, and asked her to email me the feedback as well, and she just hasn't responded? I'm really confused, this is so unlike her...

I've started a thread in the English forum now and I'm posting some there.

My teacher advised pen. I did the exam last year in pencil and it was fine.
Just make sure that your pencil is not lighter than hb.

Maybe say something like, "I'm not trying to be demanding, but I was just wondering why you haven't got around to giving me any feedback on any of my pieces yet?"

Exhausted after muck up day. My grad is after exams which I'm happy about.

Most people I've talked to are sad and nostalgic but I'm just like 'so excited for the future. Come at me.'

Thinking I'll just read over notes tonight then watch a movie :P

...I don't even know what to say to that.

I recall our invigilator saying that you MUST fill your maths multiple choice in pencil. Elsewhere, I think either is fine, as long as the answer is highlighted somehow (no dark colours though, drawing boxes around answers and underlining several times is allowed). As people have said, no pencils lighter than HB.

And for anyone who wanted to see my val dress - http://lithiophilite.tumblr.com/post/100545010218/val
You look (looked?) so nice! Now to wait for mine...
