Oh god I have to get a car too. I have the money but getting one is daunting, hardly even know where to start haha. Can't get a girly car though 

I thought hatch backs were girly until I got one. I've got a 2014 Hyundai i30, love it. It's so nimble. It's so fast. It does everything I want. Due to this, it has so many airbags so divine intervention is not required when the inevitable occurs. Get one wooo. Become an i30 brother. Such an awesome car srs. I've been driving for ~6months since I got my P's in it and whilst the fun-factor of it died down pretty quickly, when you first get one and get in at night, it feels like your in a spaceship with all the blue lights.

No car life. Forever on public transport and riding my bike  It's good exercise though!
My parents wouldn't contribute any funds to a car, so I want to save the money I have from my job to put towards travel (hopefully a semester abroad at Uni).

not sure if srs... i30 is not fast lmao. if you wanted a MUCH faster car for somewhat cheaper, you should have gone for the veloster turbo which is now P plate legal

Oh, yeah that's understandable. I bought mine second hand off my cousin, it was basically my graduation present so yeah. Hey, that's awesome ! Good for you !

i30 is fast. I forget what it's valled but when my friend modified the air intake on the car the performance improved dramatically compared to stock. I also drive it manually and shift gears close to red line when I'm racing. It's faster than most other cars. My i30 model does 0-100 in 7.1 whilst veloster turbo does it in 7.7. Speed is also not the twain I got it, it was for safety and it was a perk.
